LORD KRUMBLE —A transitional sans that mixed Art-Deco with neo-classical humanist minuscules
════════════════════════════════════
Inspired to celebrate the homecoming of him who strikes fear in all badly baked treats, the one which nightmares are made of, that kind of person that makes every cookie crumble and wanna skip school for a day or two. Of course I'm talking about the one and only "Cookielord".
— "What could'nt be better suiting than to have a freshly crasfted and new font that is celebrating his return."
Him recently dropping a new FontStruction somewhat came as a pretty unexpected but nice surprise. It just so happened to be that I was already looking for new ideas that could lead to the next project. In fact, until recently I was actually still struggling with this, and hadn't really been able to provide a catchy and motivating design theme to bring to the table that would once again help me on my way with starting a new FontStruct project. So I took this occasion to see if I was able to find a little inspiration in his Verminfont. Not particularly aimed at doing a derivative work, nor anything closely resembling his cool font. Instead rather trying to draw some inspiration from that peculiar and playful but friendly characteristic, that to me personally distinguishes his Vermin font the most anyway.

And so I appoligize for the fact that this doens't truly relates or do justice stylistically in any way to the aesthetic present in Cookielord's original Vermin font. That being said, this is what became the end product of that.
But, it does have one striking resemblance that pays a homage to him, and that is the included cookie. Sorry I took a bite out of it my friend, hope you can still appreciate it.
— Just to let you know that regardless wether you decide to stay or not, your recent return isn't going to be for nothing!!

No 'Brick Size' filters were used, which of course presented me with a lot of challenges that limited the amount of complexity I was able to put in, something that wouldn't been the case with (2:2) 'Brick Size' filter settings. The other noteworthy aspect to this particular fontstruct is its grid size, which is tiny. Never before have I made a Fontstruction that required kerning values to fluctuate only as little as 0,01. This also made it impossible to implement optical corrections on the vertical axis in the form of overshoots, but luckily this didn't became a very clear issue in the end.
I'm not sure if I can complete the additional Latin accents for all characters due to the limited grid space available surrounding some of glyphs. I might try doing those later.
Let me know what u think of it so far fella's, stay tuned!
Cheers

[THE PROCESS]
The one major difference between the two works is the grid size and construction method, Isaiah's version was made using a faux-Bézier approach (very labour intensive) and requires a fairly large design grid, whereas my version is a small grid design, utilizing the circle arc bricks and composites to achieve smoother contour quality, and was done on just a 4x7 grid using 2:2 filter.
This different approach and limitations in small grid designs have led to a number of small changes for certain glyphs. Also have I change some details slightly to my personal preference. But it remains very much Isaiah's design.
══════════════════════════════════
[THE FONT]
I tried to remain as faithful to the original font as possible, and in addition tried to further expand the character set. Most important differences made in my revision are the additional lowercase chatacter set (spurred strokes), the uppercase alternative forms / lowercase alternative forms (spurless) and extra symbols.
Enjoy!
This is a clonei take the undertale/deltarune font and add glyphs that are not from basic latin because everyone always forgets to add them
In the private use area F000-F022 are some chars to help with custom symbols
IMPORTANT NOTE: THIS FONT IS NO LONGER BEING WORKED ON. I HAVE A BIGGER FONT TO WORK ON FOR THE TIME BEING.

Finally done. Phew! It took two days to make this. This is a full collection of 5×7 Dot Matrix characters as seen on many devices, like Texas Instruments calculators. A lot of these are custom. Sources include TI-83, TI-86, TI-89, Casio Monochrome Graphing Calculators, Casio fx-115ES PLUS, and the rest, I created them myself. I included fractions for those themes on Microsoft Office don't have matching "1/3" and other fractions with the "1/4", "1/2", and "3/4". The fullwidth characters are substitutes for the other characters in the regular style, such as the math "x" and "y" from Casio.
Please note that character sets like Arabic and some Math Operators are beyond 5×7 pixels. If you want to know why? Because Arabic is very big and if I put it all in 5×7 pixels, the text will look weird, won't really fit inside, and there would be no point to it. I left it as is. Roman Numerals cannot fit if you were doing the "VIII" character, for example.
Enjoy!
8/28/2019: Font created.
1/7/2020: Added characters in the following form: Fullwidth and Halfwidth are used for making TI-73 Explorer characters, plus actual monospace setting characters. Note that Runic, Tagalog, and Hanunoo are replaced with character variants. The last variation of a character is from Minecraft's font. The fractions are also changed to level the line spacing. The wide "M" is never ever for use on Monospacing.
1/8/2020: More variations are added, extended to replace Buhid. I also added other math symbols and more. To type x̄, press unicode shortcut and type 01b2. To type ȳ, press unicode shortcut and type 01b3. I also added over a hundred, or two hundred, more characters to stock up on the font. Oh and I changed the filters to separate the pixels for a more pixel and retro look. Also fixed the spacing on the "Щ" character.
9/8/2020: Added a bunch of more characters to the font set.
8/25/2023: fixed the license so that the download works now.

A 2x2 design which started with a "split" aesthetic and ended up with a "stenciled" one. I embraced the change and now all these glyphs are functional as stencils. They contain minimal stacking and no composites.
In some cases the inside is connected to the outside at only one point. If you decide to use this for stencilling, I recommend using a stout material for the stencil and storing it with care.
The name comes from one of the many, many old joke bands which I created.
Recommended: Use with kerning turned on!
STF_METROPLEX - A discrete non-cursive gothic printscript.
======================================================
Its a 'block letter' script. aimed to resemble handwriting that was somewhat rushed and therefor slightly sloppy looking.
The inspiration for this loosely evolved around the idea of a simple handwriting style with medium tip marker pen, a writing style most commonly used and seen in simple everyday application, such as quick notes, bulletin board writing, block format business style as well as in study notes.
======================================================
The font combines a bit of two styles into one, with the capital letters done in a 70's Streamline Art-Deco style with at their core a distinct clear geometric backbone. When this is used in "all caps" it could provide for a solid looking headliner. For the lowercase I designed this playful and very dynamic script style that looks very much like a handwritten printscript.
The capital letters are designed with a minutely reduced cap-height relative to the point size. This allows the upper-case set coincide better with the dynamic variations and overshoots on the x-height in the lower-case set when type is set a mixed-case format.
Only partial kerning applied (sorry), but this was a horrible pain in the .... to get somewhat spaced decent enough!
Cheers

Caps only font. You can use the glyphs placed at the lowercase to add a different second letter in pairs like EE, FF, LL, NN, OO, SS, TT, ZZ, etc. and to avoid graphic repetitions in a single word or phrase. Extra "c" at the "¢" glyph. (NB: To create this one I have greatly exaggerated the method used by my admired Beate -sorry, Maestra- in her font db Whisper, which successfully simulated hand-drawn letters.)
Recreation of the fantastic font Startime, from the compilation "Circus Alphabets" (1989) by the great Dan X. Solo. I've modified some glyphs (C, G, J, K, V, W, X, &, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, ?, !, *, (, ), $, €, £, ¥, etc...) and added a lot of them, including accents and other diacritics. Some alternates were also included in the lowercase area. A personal hommage to a font from my youth, which I felt encouraged to finish after admiring the magistral and excellent work of Frodo7 Abruzzo DS.
Sans version of Oranienbaum. It's been a while...
This is a clone of Oranienbaumthis is my first published font since I joined. So, I am not a professional font designer. I just made this font for fun. So if you have any problems please feel free to share them in the comments.
