OK.
Here's "VUVUZELA"
A typeface inspired by the continent of africa, but mainly by the WorldCup of soccer 2010 in South Africa!
To catch on of the strongest associations for me relating to africa, i chose black and white stripes, maybe to remind of zebras or other animal patterns. But the effect also stands for the "swoosh" of a ball flyin by, for just the the "sporty" feel i wanted it to have.
Enjoy it.
There's an alternative "a" on "="

Slab-serif, Varsity letter style typeface, letterforms filled with aertex pattern.
Uni summer project piece, to design a typeface of any style you choose, getting to grips with Fontstruct. My first complete fontstruction, drawing inspiration from vintage American typography, sports team jerseys, current brands (e.g: Zoo York), sportswear, etc.

I registered on this website only today and find the creative tools very useful. I've attempted several alphabets already, none of which were anything special. Then I made Scriobh, which is made up of random shapes. Scriobh means write in Irish.
