A modernized geometric monoline gothic script design in progress.

Its a all caps design but with a double sized uppercase.

The style of design metrics made it tough to allign the punctuations so that they all fit both upper & lowercase strings, but I did it the best I could.

No numerals done yet, I might do them soon.

A modernist monoline typeface

Corded modernist minimalism script typeface design.

It is trying to mimmic letters written with a bend metal wire or a chord.

It is only in lowercase letters at the moment no numerals and only very limited punctuations. But It is still very fun to play around with.

And my apologies for putting a sting of glyphs with only a line showing in the numeral block but I did this to make the pangram for the font show up in when viewed from the gallery

A typeface that got struck by synchrotron radiation.

Some simple futuristic bitmap typeface with some extra ornamental and dingbat stuff in unicode!

A funky idea that started with the A and expanded from there. Most letters are drawn by a single line winding around, although some are just not willing to follow this mantra. I found this half-finished while scrolling through my private FontStructions, looking for ideas for the CounterComp, and decided it was already an interesting entry :-)

There's an alternate, narrow set of numbers that can be reached with Shift+number (on a QWERTY, Dvorak, etc. layout); not sure which set fits the style better. Suggestions and critiques welcome for anything, and feel free to clone and poke around with it. Thanks and enjoy!

Lightyears is a thin, round, geometric, no-nonsense sci-fi font, from the creator of Digital Desolation, Motion Control, and Reqruit Mk 2, as well as Fami Script (Thanks for the Top Pick!).
