A design inspired by school uniforms, sports team jerseys, etc.
Here are the glyphs I said I would add to Vertigokid's"Koily Kord", the parent font for my extention, mainly because I'd like to use the font on a gift card. Naturally I share my extension as the original designer allowed cloning which enabled me to work with it.
Sharing skill and vision and making fonts grow through additions or even extensions we as individuals find useful for ourselves and therefore for all FS members: that's when cloning becomes an awesome tool.
I only have time and interest to do the 10 numerals and punctuation shown here already as they are what I wanted. If you want brackets, symbols, other punctuation, glyphs for other languages then clone, add and share (don't forget to add your name to the list of FS members who enlarged the font > open "Unicode" then look for 'Dingbats' in the menu)
I found adding glyphs quite difficult: not only the actual shapes of the bricks and composites and how they join but because keeping the visual effects of joining and linking was surprisingly complicated as I wanted everything to match the feel of the parent font as closely as possible.
I hope the original designer signs in soon and lets me know what he thinks of the Latin numerals extension and the additions so that I know I did a reasonable job.
Just in time for the "Olympic August", this font is perfect for all sports enthousiasts specially for(followers of) team sports. The font is great for posters and invitations, too. It is ideal for colouring in. Make a blank t-shirt with round neck line by using "[" plus "]".Unfortunately you won't be able to get to type those 'more Latin' glyphs -like the fractions- that aren't on your keyboard. Unless of course you know how to because I don't!
