A design inspired by mineshafts and the wood scaffolds which are built to shore up tunnels in order to prevent them from collapsing.
Original size: 5.25pt (use multiples of this value for pixel perfection)
Experimental slab-serif. More glyphs once I work 'em out ;)
3x3 slab serif. This is based on Wallerton, Anachronistic Gunslinger, an IRC-based "TV show" which I used to write and produce. All the characters in the show were my AIs pretending they were cowboys.
Lowercase was attempted for this one, but it was ruined by the required height for "a" and "e". Further, adding more glyphs increases the kerning work. This one will likely remain Uppercase Only.
Recommended: Use with kerning.
A design made to have long legs. The mild optical illusion this font creates was a happy coincidence!
I changed the name to "Taller Tales" since it seems that many fonts called "Tall Tales" actually exist...
Original size: 40pt (use multiples of this value for pixel perfection, or use in combination with antialiasing)
A serif-ized Derpberd which works within the limitations of the original font.
I welcome suggestions for this one. It's my first time attempting a methodical serifed look, and the small size of this font makes it a challenge. This is a clone of Derpberd
Cloned from Westernity by myself, dennison by walkerws, wild bull by walkerws, nxtstp by undercurrent.
This font, Westernicity, is a derivative font by me, Doug Peters of Symbiotic Design.

My first entry for Serifcomp. Originally created in 2013, when I still had little knowledge about the finer details of type design. I've made major changes to the original design while trying not to lose its original feel (avoiding diagonal strokes, for example). I ended up making major changes to M, Q, T, W, f, k, m, q, r, t, and w, and minor changes to a bunch more; a ton of kerning was also required. It's not very polished yet, but it's a start...
Some alternates are available in Latin Extended A. As always, suggestions and critiques are welcome. Thanks and enjoy!
A bold and old Western esque typeface, Wayne is perfect for display type uses. This modern serif type face redefines a Western type feeling which immediately reminds me of my Dad and the constant reruns of old cowboy shows on our TV. With my Dad in mind, I also think of hockey and the player Wayne Gretzky comes to mind since Wayne is often used as a cowboy name. This thought process of cowboys and hockey ultimately led to the decision to name my typeface Wayne. This is a clone
