Uniliteral Hieroglyphs - they connected to the equivalent sounding letter on the keyboard, in the cases of H,h and X,x all make a similar sound with some variation. If there are alternate signs available they are included as the capitalised versions. Note this cannot be used for transliteration purposes (for example, 'j' is not a leaf, but a snake as it is the closest to making a 'j' sound)

This font was created around the theme of DANGEROUS. Norse Runes and their links to ‘dangerous’ Vikings, Celts and Historic Warriors led me to create this font based on the angles and ‘sharpness’ of weapons and original runic alphabet shapes. The font is very readable but would probably only be used for a bold title for a book (including sub-titles) based on history or a poster for bands, events or even propaganda posters. A reflection in history. This typeface design has been created for my first typography project at UWE Bristol. it has been inspired by Bristol's past Tobacco history by taking inspiration from the architectural elements of the disused Tobacco warehouses that still stand prominent in the Southville area of the city. After studying the buildings and making site visits to take photographs from all 4 sides of the warehouse, i started to look at how i could create the letter forms by using the occurring perspective of the building in relation to where i was stood. What i most like about the whole design is it not an obvious 'Reflection' inspired design and for me that has made this project a success. Later on this design will be constructed into a 3D word, where i intend to make the letters out of Red Brick like the buildings themselves.

This font combines the aestethics of Fraktur and Roman typefaces. It is also (now fully) stencil. But you would need a strong material for the schabelons, as most counters only have one opening. // The name "Düpbøl" is the combination of the German and Danish names of the same town in Southern Jutland ("Düppel" and "Dybbøl" respectively).
