The typeface Chop originally came into fruition as Chop Chop and was later shortened for convenience. The name comes from the process in which it was made, by chopping off what would normally be rounded. It has both playful and sinister qualities. Chop reminisces of a simpler time when computer games still came on floppy disks and the Internet was dial-up.
Common uses for Chop include but are not limited to: laser engraved ax handles, mix CDs, laser engraved knife handles, mixtapes, album covers and graffiti.
Fancy Pantaloons is a typeface for when you are feeling a bit silly and pretentious without wanting to be too over-the-top. This typeface reminds me of old lettering on signs from the early 1900's. A combination of Victorian, Art Deco, Art Nouveau, and a bit of Techno.
Being my first creation, this is a simple font of clock-like, digital characters. I made this font because I couldn't use all the other digital-like fonts I've found for commercial use, so I figured I'd just make my own! (And since I wouldn't say it's too good of a font, I've set a simple license.)
Some were a little tougher and don't technically follow the rules a digital clock would, but it's much better than them making little to no sense.
I may end up remaking this font with it being more high-quality and better overall, but I have no serious plans on doing that just yet. (Perhaps I've made a second version as you're reading this and I forgot to remove this part!)
The year is 2020. Oni is still making futuristic-y fonts. I was told there'd be flying cars. The future lied to me.
