Twin brother of zeronda, with more spectacular and rare large serifs. This font is a pretty little thief to me: with its big serifs it stolen my hart. It was love at first sight, as soon as I started I couldn't stop adding them to the glyphs. Only caps/unicase, also includes an "a" and "e" alternates... and a little "c" in the "¢" glyph. Kern in progress. Enjoy.
This is a clone of zeronda eYe/FSThe design of the KVN-Westgate typeface originated from the concrete lettering on the gates surrounding Ben Thanh Market in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. These gates were constructed when the market underwent renovation in the mid-1900s. Having endured for decades, the lettering on the gates represents both the history of the market and the growth of the city, formerly known as Saigon.

STF_NEUE ISAIAH - 70's Art Deco / Streamline style typeface
══════════════════════════════════
Most of the design credits for this font should go toIsaiah Garciasince I took the liberty of revisiting her fontstructionFS Idea

[THE PROCESS]
The one major difference between the two works is the grid size and construction method, Isaiah's version was made using a faux-Bézier approach (very labour intensive) and requires a fairly large design grid, whereas my version is a small grid design, utilizing the circle arc bricks and composites to achieve smoother contour quality, and was done on just a 4x7 grid using 2:2 filter.
This different approach and limitations in small grid designs have led to a number of small changes for certain glyphs. Also have I change some details slightly to my personal preference. But it remains very much Isaiah's design.
══════════════════════════════════
[THE FONT]
I tried to remain as faithful to the original font as possible, and in addition tried to further expand the character set. Most important differences made in my revision are the additional lowercase chatacter set (spurred strokes), the uppercase alternative forms / lowercase alternative forms (spurless) and extra symbols.
Enjoy!

Inspired to celebrate the homecoming of him who strikes fear in all badly baked treats, the one which nightmares are made of, that kind of person that makes every cookie crumble and wanna skip school for a day or two. Of course I'm talking about the one and only "Cookielord".
— "What could'nt be better suiting than to have a freshly crasfted and new font that is celebrating his return."
Him recently dropping a new FontStruction somewhat came as a pretty unexpected but nice surprise. It just so happened to be that I was already looking for new ideas that could lead to the next project. In fact, until recently I was actually still struggling with this, and hadn't really been able to provide a catchy and motivating design theme to bring to the table that would once again help me on my way with starting a new FontStruct project. So I took this occasion to see if I was able to find a little inspiration in his Verminfont. Not particularly aimed at doing a derivative work, nor anything closely resembling his cool font. Instead rather trying to draw some inspiration from that peculiar and playful but friendly characteristic, that to me personally distinguishes his Vermin font the most anyway.

And so I appoligize for the fact that this doens't truly relates or do justice stylistically in any way to the aesthetic present in Cookielord's original Vermin font. That being said, this is what became the end product of that.
But, it does have one striking resemblance that pays a homage to him, and that is the included cookie. Sorry I took a bite out of it my friend, hope you can still appreciate it.
— Just to let you know that regardless wether you decide to stay or not, your recent return isn't going to be for nothing!!

No 'Brick Size' filters were used, which of course presented me with a lot of challenges that limited the amount of complexity I was able to put in, something that wouldn't been the case with (2:2) 'Brick Size' filter settings. The other noteworthy aspect to this particular fontstruct is its grid size, which is tiny. Never before have I made a Fontstruction that required kerning values to fluctuate only as little as 0,01. This also made it impossible to implement optical corrections on the vertical axis in the form of overshoots, but luckily this didn't became a very clear issue in the end.
I'm not sure if I can complete the additional Latin accents for all characters due to the limited grid space available surrounding some of glyphs. I might try doing those later.
Let me know what u think of it so far fella's, stay tuned!
Cheers
Opening day of Ant-Man and the Wasp::Quantumania! So of course, this particular color font needs to emerge in this space and time. Spinning of the concept of quantum tunneling and Hank Pym's Quantum Tunnel van, this font spans multiple realms simultaneously. Shift dimensions at your own risk.
Unicase font with alternates. Special characters: Blank space at the "\", "LT" pair (kerned) at the "fi" ligature and the "TJ" pair is at the "fl" too. Better to see the font at big size. Enjoy and Happy New Year 2023!
This is a cloneSANS SERIFSCO — Humanist / Neo-Grotesque Sans-Serif
A contemporary neo-grotesque sans-serif design with regular weight.
I tried to add subtle diverse and nuanced visual elegance while still remaining minimalistic. Most significant feature is the subtle stroke modulations, distinguishing this from a more geometric style.
Designed to be versatile and suitable for a wide range of different purposes and optimized for legibility in small point size body copy.
The font was constructed on a large grid using linear interpolation (also known as faux-Bézier method). This allowed the most freedom for constructing more complex custom forms, curvatures and all the various stroke modulations.
The font has a total vertical height of 88 square grid units, this is including all optical compensations, ascends / descends and accents.
Opening day of Marvel's Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever!
I started this late and suffered the consequences, but had to release something. This took a long time and didn't look like how I wanted it to or as good as I wanted it to, but there it is. WIP as I attempt to clean up and adust stuff.
I love these kinds of fonts that have geometric puzzle-solving quality in the design. I was quite happy with how the lowercase found a way to be connected. Then I thought let me not mess with anything else. But a Z is so much like a 2, so I created the 2 out of the Z. Then when 2 was done, I was aprehensive of tackling the 1 because the vertical stem would be off by one brick, and how would that be resolved. Reluctantly I tried it...and it worked. 3 can be created from the B, but the B hasn't been created yet. OK, I guess I have to do the uppercase. A was easy. B was surpringly easy. Which gave me motivation to go on. And surprisingly soon, the whole thing came together. The hardest letters to shape were X and S. Not all letters are very successful, but they are distinctive enough to be recognized as themselves. Not sure about the =, but it will do, I suppose. In any case, no kerning required.
STF_THUNDERDOME - A tall thin stroked Art Deco typeface.
I tried to create pretty simple, elegant but somewhat wonky geometric letterforms.
Inspired by the later 70's Art Deco Streamline period.
--------------------------------------------------------
This remains a WIP, many of the glyphs in the Extended-Latin set aren't reflecting their Basic-Latin counter-parts. The character set remains far from complete for now, and many changes need to be made still.
Kerning done only for a few pairs and overall balance therefor is still quite poor I guess.
Some 'more' detailed but derailed towards the end 'in-depth' recap of this font could be found bellow in the comment section.
Stay tuned for more,
Peace!
This is a cloneBACK TO THE FRAKTUR - Modular geometric calligraphic blackletter
============================================
Calligraphy inspired design, that even though it's name can be deceptive, suggesting one in thinking it is a Fraktur derivative. Which is actually quite not the case, and as far as being a calligraphic Blackletter inspired work, the similarities between the two stop.
This is a heavily simplified and geometric take on the calligraphic style, with much more modernized letterforms as well.
It remains a WIP, but I'd love to hear what u think so far.
Cheers
Opening Day of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness! Love the cinematic multiverses, including Everything, Everywhere, All At Once! This is a Multidimensional color font that expands through every reality. Enjoy!
Caps only font. You can use the glyphs placed at the lowercase to add a different second letter in pairs like EE, FF, LL, NN, OO, SS, TT, ZZ, etc. and to avoid graphic repetitions in a single word or phrase. Extra "c" at the "¢" glyph. (NB: To create this one I have greatly exaggerated the method used by my admired Beate -sorry, Maestra- in her font db Whisper, which successfully simulated hand-drawn letters.)
110521. Opening day of the Marvel Eternals movie! Loving Phase 4 in the Marvel Cinematic Univese. This pentaline display typeface inspired by the movie logo (Caesar Font) has some limited kerning, with sparkly caps.

I love it when fonts come together like this one.
It started as me thinking what can I do for the 'twenties' that isn't 1920s. (thalamic has done those before!). The idea that I was toying with was doing each letter on a grid of 20 parts (blocks, stripes, etc.). There is already a stripes font in development (which is unlikely to be shared any time soon). I thought maybe I could convert it to a 20 stripe version. But it's too optical illusion-y and requires blocks of free time at a stretch for me to visualize the letters, which I don't have. Then the idea came to just develop a new block that says 20 on it and use it as a pixel for some pixel font. Which led to thinking an XX is 20 in Roman numerals. So I thought develop a grid that reads XX in multiple ways and directions.
With that basic idea, I started tinkering with the fontstructor and soon realized that I will need a lot of bricks. That necessitated making custom X and O bricks. That gave rise to the basic grid block of 7x7 grid that can be used as something that can be "carved" to form various letters. Better in theory than practice. M is OK, but a 7 brick wide A is just too wide. Plus the larger Xs were too white. Had to create more custom bricks to take away some of the whiteness that left the X still visible. These additional custom bricks were cumbersome to make...mainly because of my limited ability to visualize which brick placed where in a 4x4 grid will create what shape but also because I was using quarter brick corner triangles which meant that each brick of the 4x4 grid was internally a 2x2 grid as well. So a 8x8 grid really with 64 internal smaller bricks. Some bricks required making a custom brick and then merging it with another custom brick several times over to have the correct custom brick. Of course, I didn't know if the pain-stakingly created custom brick will be appropriate or not.
Much experimentation later, finally figured out what to do with this idea. Once all the custom bricks were created and the basic look of the font developed, then it was just a matter of placing the bricks in the right place. Often times not even that as one letter was just a modified version of another letter...like D and 3 are just a modified B; L and F are modified E, etc.
This was supposed to be a joke entry that didn't take much time to make. It's still a joke entry not to be taken seriously...but it did take time...and provided puzzle-like geometric challenge to overcome. Very fun.
How could I not love fontstruct!?
