Made exclusively with the new macaroni bricks. I'm still a bit sceptic of some of the lettershapes.

A variation of BitGerm with a more rounded and organic aspect. Really love how it came out.

Yet another variation of BitGerm. This one is pretty organic while it also shares an edgy look in it for yet more cyberpunk/sci-fi air in it.
Bends the pattern of the previous three a little bit, but still remains in 3x3.This is a clone of BitGerm Organic

I know something similar has been done before; I just created a different interpretation.

As part of my Graphic Design brief at UWE I was asked to design a font based on the word 'Curve'. I wanted to design a typeface that uses the negative space and creates a curve from consistent shapes, hence only using a select set of pixels. This also strongly links to my research into ceramic sets where curves were introduced strongly during post war times in 1945 - 1960s. I was inspired by the sculpture work of Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth in particular, and feel that the font has produced its own ceramic set with a flow throughout the typeface created within the negative space.

Inspired by Neoqueto's LDR MANUFACTURE and Global Village by JoeAllison.
Feedback would be beyond nice!
--This looks like it's about as done as its getting. I'll probably come back now and then to tweak a few letters and/or look at any suggestions though. And more than likely I'll try to add a few more. Enjoy for now though!--

PT - Um tipo de letra onde o que está presente é a ausencia da mesma
EN - A font where what is present is the absence of the same

OK.
Here's "VUVUZELA"
A typeface inspired by the continent of africa, but mainly by the WorldCup of soccer 2010 in South Africa!
To catch on of the strongest associations for me relating to africa, i chose black and white stripes, maybe to remind of zebras or other animal patterns. But the effect also stands for the "swoosh" of a ball flyin by, for just the the "sporty" feel i wanted it to have.
Enjoy it.
There's an alternative "a" on "="

I need help with the capital and lower case V, so it is not done.
Later I plan on creating more special characters, as well.

First things first; of course it's not, but I wouldn't mind if you let your eyes decieve you. If anyone has any suggestions for changing some of the punctuation or letters, I'll be happy to hear them.

Another attempt at using macaroni bricks in a 2x2 grid using what techniques I gained from messing around with CnstrcT and PictoPeeps. Tried for good legiblity at small sizes (it looks a whole lot better when viewing at a small size). Not a very good try, but I do love playing around with it.

An update of Curva Old. I fixed up several problems to do with curves in strange places but I kept the old one because the way it was is still a good style. This font and the other one where inspired by a font called Abode and a font called Danube. This is a clone of Curva Old

I'm sure this is actually someone else's design style from somewhere along the way that I have now 'borrowed'...

The font Flomotion is the outcome to my first semester at UWE, studying Graphic Design. The task was to create a full typeface on the font building website, fontstruct.com. The final design had to relate to a chosen theme, my chosen theme for this project was Motion in which I pursued the subject of optical illusions. I liked the idea of trying to create a false sense of movement with a font, taking inspiration from existing optical illusions with the same effect. This then led me to look at the 'Op' art movement of the 1960's, in particular the extensive work of Bridget Riley. Her use of black and white line giving the illusion of depth had a big influence on my work and I think my final design reflects this.

This font was inspired by the wrought iron work I have noticed when exploring Bristol. The idea developed further when I saw some Greek decoration while researching on the internet. The two came together, the meeting of curves, lines and spirals to form Keys, a modern take on ancient symbolism mixed with a reminder of industrial exuberance.

First time trying to create fonts, thank you! ^^"
haa... I don't think it's really that good, but it definitely can be improved.
