+++work in progress+++ The hardest one was "z" until i saw theres a cool solution made out of "a" :D However this in NOT inspired by 60ies, i was more thinking about Tattoo Art, or some kind of a slashing Samurai thingy... Thats maybe why i changed the name from "Dark Matter" to "Dark Shogun"

Hey Ladies! I started this in march this year. I was just stoked about some work of thalamic (i don`t know which font it was, tho), so i began fontstructing this about half the height, i think. While doing that i stumbled upon old stuff like posters from the early 30ies. Somehow all this mixed up in my mind, just to explain why it`s called histamic. Apparently in progress, like always! Come on, it`s free :)

***Did you see the HORNS?***

Playing around with octagonal shapes. One child of this phase was "Zapotek", which Xenophilius mentioned completely right. Another one, beside some others , is this one. Somewhere in the back of my head this is inspired by the wonderful "fs Kronos" by will.i.ૐ. Not so much in it's look, but in it's heroic, oldfashioned feel. The feel it's purpose is decorating an epic fantasy novel :) I hope the upcoming sample can make this clearer. Enjoy

I was thinking... it could be a nice concept/basic letterform to "pump up" squares! The upper and lower case sets are different, but not completely. Some of the glyphs only worked in one way... So here it is. Enjoy and have a beautiful summer!

OK. Here's "VUVUZELA" A typeface inspired by the continent of africa, but mainly by the WorldCup of soccer 2010 in South Africa! To catch on of the strongest associations for me relating to africa, i chose black and white stripes, maybe to remind of zebras or other animal patterns. But the effect also stands for the "swoosh" of a ball flyin by, for just the the "sporty" feel i wanted it to have. Enjoy it. There's an alternative "a" on "=" cheers kix

This is originally inspired by a typeface i've seen on a wedding/congratulation card. In the process of crafting the glyphs it turned out more and more like a font, perfect for horror, goth emo stuff. A little bit as you know them from Tim Burton movies/introductions. So this is why it's name is an homage to Tim Burton and his morbid, ingenious and unique way of visualising movies. Enjoy! Harr, harr... It also contains some ligatures (which i integrated into the sample) and alternative glyphs. Like for example an "o" without thedecoration in the middle... This took me many, many hours of trying, learning, erasing and restarting. Especially the design of the caps was hard; sooo many possibilities! However, i'm proud to present you my first real blackletter font :) I would like to add some more glyphs to the "more latin" set, but the size seems to be close to the download limit. It's downloadable yet, but i had to erase some glyphs... ps: there's an alternate "a" on "@", and some decorative stuff on "#" and "*". cheers

Hey fellas... The idea of this was to create a font without real upper or lower case with a futuristic touch. In the end i had so many different ideas for one glyph that i decided to include 3 full sets from A-Z into this, topped with some symbols and numerals. keys for the 3rd set: A=. B=, C="(left) D="(right) E=` F=´ G=" H=' I=? J=! K=@ L=_ M=* N=# O=$ P=% Q=& R=( S=) T=+ U=- V=/ W=: X=; Y=< Z== *=> -=] +=[ [={ ]=} >>>this will be available in 2 more versions: ANTARES38 and ANTARES39 with rounded and cutted endings. This is a clone of FS Antares39

this font was/is supposed to be my study project, which's also the reason for his name. My absolute first attempt on constructing the complete extended latin set!!! with "newton" i'm trying to get closer to foreign symbols and specialties. What lies closer to do this with my most legible typeface so far... if you're interested, stay tuned :)

inspired by oldschool video racing games, but also by lapcounters in formula one. Every dot of this's got a size of 5x5 bricks!!! the reason for choosing such a superhigh resolution, was the idea to create an italic angle, which is impossible to do with the FSapplet. This is followed by a LOWER case plus numbers, called "pole position l/c". however...cheers,community and fontlovers!

the DOT experience continues... It gives you an unexpected kind of FREEDOM creating lines with dots. This time i doubled the resolution by using 2x2 circles. Finally your eye can help making curves of any size look complete and entirely smooth! Oh my god... I see more possibilities now than ever before!! That technique of "dotting", as i call it, will make my brain bust, i guess. :P May the force be with me!

Hey fellas! i know it seems kind of "up to date" to dot around, but beate and her(?) featured download inspired me to experience some DOTTING as well. The cool thing about using dots is, that the viewers eye/brain/imagination does the MAIN part while viewing it. There are 8(!) more different angles possible, because of the half circle bricks... hope you like it! cheers kix

ok. i think the basic version of MULTIVERSE is the right place to say something about its development. In the first place, the first member of the MULTIVERSE family, called MULTIVERSE*sunburst, came up with a quite simple, minimalistic form/style, because i tried to catch the main focus on it's fading effect. So to say, the form/style had total secondary priority. Nevertheless the "minimalism" of this font, which is completely done with the use of a 45° angle, felt just perfect for trying out some stuff. call it a phase... i got a massive amount of ideas to dress this little SOAB! :) High five from germany. i feel deep love for all of you crazy FSors being just as addicted as i am :P there will be a sample for all of'em soon, btw...This is a clone of FS MULTIVERSE Stripes
