Made for FontStruct's Future Competition. This display typeface was designed with a little influence from stencil, this font has rounded corners intermixed with angular corners, and gaps in unusual places. It also uses the “two-storey” lowercase g, which was a challenge to fit cohesively within the restrictions I gave myself.
ASCII + Cyrillic.
SUTORAIPU ORIGAMI - A display typeface that was inspired by origami.
Enjoy!
This is a clone of STF_SUTORAIPU ORIGAMI (FILLED STENCIL)Modernism alphabet
This is a clone of STF_HETERODYNE_(OUTLINED)Fourth recap in a series to attempt to re-create some of the works from late great dutch graphic designer "Jurriaan Schrofer".
I hope you like it.
This is a clone of STF_JS-SANS SQUARE (OUTLINE)Gloria is inspired by 1930's architecture. The theme for this idea is ‘destructive'. I looked at the exterior of buildings and the disappearance and destruction of 1930's architecture and the art deco era and style. The font is a combinination of curves and straight edges which expresses the style of architecture from that time. The detail on the letters will look better at a larger scale so it would be best for display. Anyone wanting to convey a period time or the art deco movement this is the font for you.
Desk bound is inspired by the shape of paperclips. The theme for this idea is ‘systematic’, my initial interpretation of this was something heavy and solid, to represent machinery/construction, based on industrial systems. The idea behind the paperclips comes from the notion that every ‘system’, in a broader sense of the word, requires careful planning and organisation. The physical form of the letters is intended to appear both soft and geometric, making use of the rounded rectangular shape of the paperclips to communicate this and remain consistent, reflecting back on the original ‘systematic’ theme whilst looking lighthearted and playful.
t.e.r.s. is a font that uses the negative space of horizontally flipped letterforms to hide one's meaning. "Ters" means "reverse" in Turkish. If you need a good typeface to hide your meaning while still looking cool, try out t.e.r.s.! This font was completed in 2 hours for the Fontstruct Reverse Competition!

A font in the "Compass" group which I started a few years ago and not finished yet. Living in Western Europe I wanted a swingy-light-rounded looking font for "West" on the compass to celebrate the gentle hills and open spaces around my home in France.
I built this font ignoring all knowledge and experience of brickwork and physics. Yet it stands up to use ;) Work in progress...
This is a clone of Free MasonryI wanted to celebrate my 5 years of FontStructing, so I looked for a special font among my older unpublished ones. I think this one fits the celebration.
The original text explains my inspiration, a 2-colour swirled soup I made for a special occasion:
When I saw the pattern created by gently pouring crême fraîche across the surface of spinach soup I simply HAD to make a font reminiscent of the flowing shapes and lines slowly spreading across the top and thinning out irregularly. This font looks fine with the standard sample text in smallest pixel size. The larger sized text looks more like the floating dissipating cream on the soup's surface :)
