Shavian alphabet expansion of Rhythm Doctor system font

A blobby, irregular Y2K-inspired font

Ailurophilia FS is a heavy display font shaped like heavy cats.

Ailurophilia means an affinity to cats.

FS stands for FontStruct, of course.

 Made as a complement to PixelMPlus12. Supports Greek and Cyrillic characters. Cyrillic lowercase letters are condensed to compensate for text length increasing in Russian.

LCD-JP with a Mullard SAA5050 style upscaling process applied. A handful of letters were redrawn to keep them recognizable after the upscale (@, &, cross-hatching patterns, 年, 金).

Adaptation of Commodore 64’s default font into the Shavian alphabet.

Attempt to render the Cyrillic alphabet using the 14-segment LCD screen. Really highlights how impractical the 14-seg is for Cyrillic text. All letters I couldn't "solve" are rendered as all-on. Minecraft’s system font remade and extended to span the entire Cyrillic Unicode block. Uses some design motifs found in the original, like the high crossbar height in capital letters, as well as alternate letterforms like Л and Д to avoid ugly not-kerning as much as possible.

The letterform for the д came to me in a sudden burst of inspiration.

Font based on the English DS version of Puyo Puyo 15th, 7, and 20th. Some symbols are created from scratch to match the overall style.

Version of Broadband with tighter (narrower) gaps.

Weird alien squiggles that kind of look like letters.

Made for FontStruct's Future Competition. This display typeface was designed with a little influence from stencil, this font has rounded corners intermixed with angular corners, and gaps in unusual places. It also uses the “two-storey” lowercase g, which was a challenge to fit cohesively within the restrictions I gave myself.
