A font made with Super Mario World sprites, starting with the letter they represent!
Note: the shading might not look that good on mobile
(The only ones I couldn't make were X and Z, feel free to suggest something for them.)
‘Ripped paper’ is a graffiti inspired font focusing specifically on texture and imperfection. The influence taken from punk and grunge styles, as well as artist Chris Ashworth's idea of 'Swiss Grit'. The use of many different fontstruct bricks allows the font to achieve the messy pixelated texture. The font style was created originally from experimentation with ripping paper, hence the name.
This font is for the sporty one of my nephews.
This is a clone of In A HurryThis blocky and industrial font was inspired by architechtural features on a large multistory car park near where I live. I took pictures of multiple elements from the building and rearranged and rotated the shapes to create letter forms, and used shading to create a 3 dimensional effect to mimic the structures depth when seen in person.
Mltng Pnt is a typeface that took form from the word destructive. It's aim is to be an illustrative typeface that focuses on the destruction of the natural letter form. This process creates a lot of visual noise, distorting the viewers vision and adding to this sense of destruction on a more palpable level. The figures were inspired by melting butter, hence the name 'Mltng Pnt' (melting point). This name also suggests a point of no return, capitalising on the theme of destruction.
