A font modernized from back in the day with a consistent block and line rule.
Recommendations are welcomed : )
A pixel font i made myself some characters like the W are not that well made and theres not many lowercase letters and the lowercase ones are wierd
this is a PDF and a guide to the language. This is a language and yes these symbols mean something. I created it because I was not able to find a free font like this online. This language comes from the R’lyehian Alphabet. The goal was to design an alphabet that matched H.P. Lovecraft’s description of the ancient language. To do that it needed
1. To hang down from “horizontal word lines”
2. To be hieroglyphic in nature
3. Not be like Naacal (i.e. ancient Mayan) \
4. Not be like the hieroglyphics of Easter Island (Rongorongo)
The next most obvious hieroglyphics after that would be Egyptian, so putting all that together translated to something that combined a Devanagari style with symbols that could have eventually led to the Egyptian hieroglyphics.
THE LOWERCASE AND UPPERCASE
This is a set of letters for Upper Case versions of each letter. The idea is that the language and concepts of the language are non-Euclidean and non-linear, so there is nothing stopping someone from writing it to change directions or change the orientation of the letters. Long story short, these are either backward, at right angles, or upside-down, and in some cases tweaked so they seem fairly different from the basic alphabet. Using capital letters gives variety to the writing, but also makes it harder to read.
(I just inverted most of the letters and the lower case and uppercase are switched so just beware that if you type without caps lock you will be typing in uppercase)
If you have any questions consult the PDF and if it's not in the PDF then I don't know I will be adding an image of what symbols correspond to the keys on the keyboard (if there's already an image then ignore the last bit)
I'm not Uber Goober games btw I have no connection to them and they are responsible for the language.
As seen on the Interview with Rob Meek page's 2nd image or the page on year 2007 or something? i dont know, i'm not a time traveller, rob meek accidentally leaked the old logo design lol
Inspired by grotesk sans serif fonts made between the 1830s and 1960s. Also inspired by Bebas Neue. This font's name comes from the German word "anzeig", meaning "display". What characters/character sets should I do next?
I felt like making this font.
A sans-serif monospaced pixel font for coding.
A faithful recreation of an alien-looking monospace serif typeface from an old VGA Text Mode font ROM. Includes all of the special characters present in the ROM (which conforms to Code Page 437)
A faithful recreation of a scripty cursive monospace typeface from an old VGA Text Mode font ROM. Special characters beyond regular ASCII were left unmodified, so they are not included.
This is my first ever made font. We used this program in our class to create a simple alphabet in our design. Please visit my Instagram @liliumquartz if interested in other stuff I do.
This is based on the Data Pro font, and the original font was not a valid font.
This ornate typeface was designed with the intention to give every part of a letterform some curve. The end result was a typeface that mirrored the rounded shape of old-fashioned wood spindles like one might find on an antique dinning chair or an elaborate staircase in an ancestry home. Spindles like these were handcrafted and born from the finest lumber a proud wood worker could find. This same type of pride went into the crafting of Simple Spindle.
Being fascinated with old technology, I decide to make a typface reflectant of old computers used during the mid to late 20th century. I picture this font being typed with the clicky sounds of mechanical keyboards, and I hope so will you.
This font is a clone of "Cloher Mewrett Yiuoppo".
I have made a lot of new letters, and I have added the French accents. This is a clone
Based off of the old British street signs made of cast iron. Created on 07.06.2019.
UPDATE (08.06.2019): Added more characters! Glyph count is now set to 94.
This is the writing of the maþla (mathla) language I created. It is spoken by gods and contains magic.
The phonetics and lexems are based on a mixture of Proto-Germanic, Old Norse and my fantasy. It has 26 vowels and doesn't have any b, d or g sounds.
Old style typeface, rounded end, can be used for commercial catalogs.
I saw a old poster on the internet and this is a remake of the font it used.
This is an enhanced version of the retro font you see on old games. Still WIP. The squares are just placeholders and will be removed shortly. I hope to make this have more characters than any other fonts in the future (this might take a while). This font can be used in retro-style games, computer graphics, or anything else you can imagine. This font is pixelated, meaning it is lightweight and easy to port to many devices. This is a clone of Ndless Default Font
I designed this font based on the word 'Thunderous'. My thinking in how the word relates is due to the Norse God Thor. I then started to look in to old Norse culture, this got me interested in runes. So with deeper research in to the Futharks spawned this type.
This font was designed around the theme word Elegant. I was inspired to create a typeface that was ornate and palatial; it is a ode to Baroque design.
I have tried to emulate columns for the body of the font and created a crowned frieze for some of the letters with decorative toppers for the remaining characters.
Based on Times New Roman
IDK i just love times new roman somehow
