A typeface inspired by synthwave music and the art that represents it. The late 1980's and early 1990's landscape is full of amazing creativity that would be great to build off of.
I tried to capture the unique structure the music has to its sound, which is where the block shapes come in. To compliment the music's unpredicability, I made up all the block letterforms out of a "scan-line-esque" pattern.
Being fascinated with old technology, I decide to make a typface reflectant of old computers used during the mid to late 20th century. I picture this font being typed with the clicky sounds of mechanical keyboards, and I hope so will you.
This design was inspired by bubble letters and block letters.
Combining round edges to sharp edges creates a satisfying bubble block typeface. The highlight in the type create the illusion of a more rounded typeface.
The design was inspired by Josef Albers Kombinationschrift alphabet. A modular typeface built using a limited number of basic shapes. Need a condensed stencil typeface? Look no further! Little Tittle was created for those tight spaces. A condensed set width paired with short ascending and descending strokes allows for tight spacing vertically as well. Little Tittle is exclusively lowercase; however, it does have a stencil and solid version so you can mix and match styles for more typographic variety.
Nebular is a space-age, all-caps sans serif typeface. It is bold; rounded yet angular. Great for headlines, quotes, and posters. It brings a fun bit of futuristic sci-fi to any design!
