                                The evil older brother of Ferno. Unleashed from his cage where he has been held captive for two years. wait. It says created 10.29.08. It's been about three years. Yep. He's angry about that. Long overdue for a Halloween rampage. This is a FontStruct 1.0 creation. Original stacks were created with Will's brick stacking glitch before Meek permanently made it an advanced feature. I was going to update it with new curvy bricks, but I'm afraid to touch it. It's wicked sharp.

                                    This is originally inspired by a typeface i've seen on a wedding/congratulation card. In the process of crafting the glyphs it turned out more and more like a font, perfect for horror, goth emo stuff. A little bit as you know them from Tim Burton movies/introductions. So this is why it's name is an homage to Tim Burton and his morbid, ingenious and unique way of visualising movies. Enjoy! Harr, harr... It also contains some ligatures (which i integrated into the sample) and alternative glyphs. Like for example an "o" without thedecoration in the middle...                                         This took me many, many hours of trying, learning, erasing and restarting. Especially the design of the caps was hard; sooo many possibilities! However, i'm proud to present you my first real blackletter font :) I would like to add some more glyphs to the "more latin" set, but the size seems to be close to the download limit. It's downloadable yet, but i had to erase some glyphs... ps: there's an alternate "a" on "@", and some decorative stuff on "#" and "*". cheers

                                                I thought this resembled Javanese shadow puppets, hence the name. A word about my fonts; I'm not necessarily attempting to create completely usable sets of glyphs at this point. I'm more interested in exploring ways to use the bricks.                                                         Font idea taken from the typography from posters for the Smashing Pumpkins Arising tour, back in 1999. As williaum has pointed out, that font is Ironwood. It occurred to me that it would make a very easy Fonstruction. And it was! It's the perfect font for your iron-on Motorhead t-shirt decal. Named after the curmudgeon monk in "Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follet.

                                                                More ridiculousness. Zoom in and see for yourself. Created for layering effects. Caps are decorated, lowercase letters become backdrops. Sketched back in September.
