Another simple experiment with composites, this time trying to make a font which can easily accomplish a "diamond encrusted" or "disco floor" style effect within my graphics software.
SPOILER: I succeeded. :D

This is a cloneThe design of the KVN-Westgate typeface originated from the concrete lettering on the gates surrounding Ben Thanh Market in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. These gates were constructed when the market underwent renovation in the mid-1900s. Having endured for decades, the lettering on the gates represents both the history of the market and the growth of the city, formerly known as Saigon.

Spray.ME is a classic stencil typeface, a bit inspired by Impact, but with a little twist. Hold Shift while typing for a dirty effect of fresh paint dripping from the letters. Stains, splatters - just like it was sprayed a few seconds ago. "!" hides behind "\" and "|".
I realize that there are tiny holes scattered over letters with the paint effect, if this font is going to be disqualified for that, I can remove them. :3
Ah - there's a tiny spray can dingbat!
More of an experiment than an attempt at an amazing typeface, but I thought it'd be a fun entry nonetheless. Don't let the creation date fool you: I started this design in early 2014. There were many issues that had to be remedied before publishing, most notably the lack of characters and major discrepancies between the shapes of serifs (some were entirely triangular, others entirely curved). It's still heavily a work in progress. Suggestions are encouraged, especially for the Q and punctuation. Thanks and enjoy!
This is a cloneHave you ever tried to add more glyphs to a font you haven't touched for months? Cause I always struggle when I try it… Nevertheless, I'll try to add some more characters as soon as I find time and motivation
This is another clone of Monkey (my monospace lanky font); it should be very similar to the original except for the lower x-height and the added accented characters (More Latin/Latin-1, Latin Extended A, Latin Extended B, and now Even More Latin/Latin Extended Additional). It is 16 blocks tall and 6 blocks wide; all letters without diacritics are at most 9 above the baseline and at most 3 below, but the accents push the height of a letter up by 3 blocks (or rarely 4), and the box drawing characters extend even higher, to 16 blocks from descender to the highest point. This font uses the FontStruct 2x2 filter method with plenty of composite and stacked bricks, which lets the curves look good at large sizes while remaining sharp on the screen at normal sizes. Mandrill will look strange in the FontStruct preview if you zoom in or out, but if you download it, it will look sharp at size 16 or 12 (depending on the program).
