while i may not have been on this site for very long, i am very thankful for the fontstruct community, this font utilized a few composite glyphs and utilized some help from veteran fontstructors in order to create them. thank you for the help :)
Pixelated font for a user interface. High resolution.
This is a clone of Interface Low-ResUsing the word Lurid as the basis for my development, the concept behind this font comes from things that are visually disturbing to look at. The idea to make a font that looks like it is dripping comes from the imagery I found in my research into Heavy Metal logos. The Halftone Gradient effect I decided to use was inspired from my experimentation in fontstruct with trypophobia, the fear of looking at small tightly packed holes, leading me to create my font out of black dots.
Corded modernist minimalism script typeface design.
It is trying to mimmic letters written with a bend metal wire or a chord.
It is only in lowercase letters at the moment no numerals and only very limited punctuations. But It is still very fun to play around with.
And my apologies for putting a sting of glyphs with only a line showing in the numeral block but I did this to make the pangram for the font show up in when viewed from the gallery
MILITIA - A bold geometric typeface inspired by the military.
It comes in 2 style variations (solid/stencil) and features uppercase plus small uppercase letters!
Enjoy!

-----
BOXCUTTER is a squarish and heavy-weight display typeface that is straight in your face. Beveled to make the fella slightly less agressive.
It's pixel optimized as well and it comes in uppercase and small uppercase characters only!
This is a clone of STF_BOXCUTTERIt's been a while since I last revisited the works of "Jurriaan Schrofer".
So here is another one by the late great Dutch graphical designer.

Style variation in the SEMIOTICA type family.
A type family based on the lettering seen on the book cover of "Semiotica - Journal of the International Association for Semiotic Studies" published by Mouton. The letters and book cover were originally designed by "Jurriaan Schrofer".
As usual I completed the alphabet plus numerics and added numerous punctuations.

I hope you like it.

A piece of constructivism inspired by Dutch artistic movement "De Stijl".
This is a clone of STF_FABRICON_(OUTLINE)Another tribute to the great Dutch graphical designer/pioneer "Jurriaan Schrofer".
This time I didn't do a straight foreward recap of a specific work from the great man, but rather had myself inspired by a number of his sketches and combined those ideas all into this type! (Nonetheless ofcourse still heavily inspired by..)
Here are a few of the original works I drawn inspiration from:
"A.S.C. COMMUNICATIONS, SEMINOTICS, SIGNAGE SYSTEM PTT 1975 (Dutch Post Office) , BEURS VAN BERLAGE, UNREADABLE ALPHABET"
This is a clone of STF_JS-SANS SEVERE (MULTILINE)Another recap from the work of Dutch graphical designer "Jurriaan Schrofer". This one is called "Onleesbaar Alfabet" which translates to "Unreadable Alphabet".
It's the first of three and it features solid glyphs.
This is a clone of STF_JS-ONLEESBAAR ALFABET (OUTLINE)The second recap of "Onleesbaar Alfabet"

Based on the theme of 'Energetic', this typeface is inspired by the footprints which teach people how to dance. The unrepeated pattern of footprint suggests spontaneity, and it also makes the typeface looks unusal and stands out. The font is designed to be decorative and to be use selectively. I think it will be suitable to party poster or promotion.
Made as part of the “Found type” project for UWE Bristol. Inspired by the word “Squishy” I explored ‘doughy’ avenues and decided to base a font around first donuts and then finally settled on jam. This font is inconsistent, no one letter is uniformed. It portrays a wet and fluid feel that could be seen in any cookbooks or type for children. I would imagine this font to be useful for a very small audience as it is very specific. It could be used beyond the jam idea and be useful in terms of science fiction as it looks ambiguous out of context of the materials. This is not the finished product and it will be worked on over the next few months.
