BOXCUTTER is a squarish and heavy-weight display typeface that is straight in your face. Beveled to make the fella slightly less agressive.
It's pixel optimized as well and it comes in uppercase and small uppercase characters only!

I created this font based on the word ‘loud’. I researched sound waves and visual interpretations of sound which led me into development of an Equalizer styled Font. This font is a re-creation of my own recordings saying the alphabet. This version is the edited version of the original, and has unique sound patterns for each letter.This is a clone of Levels Original

A punk in a suit: the initial inspiration for this font came from the theme 'loud'. My thought process was that actions speak louder than words, and the Punk movement in the ‘70s helped people through a lot of social and economic unrest; punk communicates effectively. Consequently, I approached creating a typeface with the DIY mentality of punk. I observed the approach of Jamie Reid, the zine culture and various band posters to identify with the distinctive cut and paste style. I then considered how this could be used to communicate with more than one audience at once while retaining the punk aesthetic. This led me to create a typeface which is conflicted between serif and sans-serif; it features jerky counters contrasting with chipped bowls; it’s a font designed to appear cut up and pasted back together in line with the traditional ethics of DIY punk. Font created for a project at UWE, my key word was "LOUD" . I used the idea to create the illusion of the type, I recorded myself saying pronouncing each letter then used the shape of the soundwave generated to create the form, each letter is different and is like a cutout held in front of an image of that letters soundwave.
