Character set from Impossible Mission loading screen on the Commodore 64. Original contained glyphs for A-Z capitals and digits 1984 only.
Have used some of the angular blocks to create smoother characters, while using the original pixelled versions for lower case. This could do with some extra work to improve it, if anyone else wants to have a go then feel free to clone it :)
This is a cloneKubasta is a monospaced pixel font designed with legibility in mind. The glyphs are easily distinguishable from one another and legible even in small sizes. It’s perfectly applicable for retro style interfaces and games.
An earlier version was created with BitFontMaker2 in 2014 and featured in Beat Cop by Pixel Crow.
Triad published by Livewire. One of the first games I ever played on the C64 back in 1985, loaded this up off tape - probably the first game I ever mastered and advanced through the levels. And the first place I ever heard Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor :)
Another Commodore character set. From Summer Games II's Fencing event, this is the font that appears on the computer terminal. Upper case, digits and full stop only. It's also correctly monospaced as the terminal is meant to be an early 1980s machine. G and Q will touch adjacent characters, that's by design.
Fell back on this as I want to work with curves BUT they're kind of limited. I work in 1x1 pixel space but I want a curve that can span a 2x2 space. At the moment Fontstruct doesn't let us scale a brick up in size, only downward (i.e. composite bricks)... so the only curves you can do, your letters look like rounded rectangles.
I found a font rip from "Footballer of the Year" and the upper case letters were identical to Gauntlet, so I took the lower case ones and added them. Have called it "Gauntlet Potion" as "Gauntlet Deeper Dungeons" was too long. I don't really care for the lower case letters that much... it's here if anyone wants it for variety.
This is a clone of GauntletC64 character set for Gauntlet and The Deeper Dungeons (DD) games. Found a few odd characters that don't get used in the game, and others only used in DD for when the player's picked up a hidden potion (e.g. extra armour, extra shot strength).
This font was inspired by Johannes Gutenberg’s Black Letter, and the iconic 8 bit font. I wanted to make a font that would be found in an old arcade or some odd Nintendo Gameboy role playing game.
The challenge of making this font was trying to make it simple like the original 8 bit font but still have it be ornate like the Black Letter. I believe that I met the challenge and I was also able to make a lower case set which adds more readability to the big blocky upper case. While it became more readable it is still more of a display font.

A font inspired by retro video games, and retro styled games. Ispiration stemming from games like Undertale, Earth Bound, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, and other things like classic zombie and horror movie culture. Another huge inspiration to this font was Nitrome, a computer game website that I grew up with as a kid which featured dozens of flash and pixel based games. The font is designed to be versitile in a few kinds of styles, whether it's a horror movie poster or an ice cream shop stand, it's appealing to the eye and can be played with tons of color choices and style varieties.
Wizard, platform game for the Commodore 64. This font replicates its pixelled medieval character set at its usual size. After first doing a monospaced version, cloned it to make a proportional font and have tried to set reasonable kerning of character pairs. Some redefined characters in the game also appear here...
This is a cloneMegaten 20XX is a monospaced sans-serif pixel font recreation based on the original typeface appearing in the Super Famicom video game Shin Megami Tensei II, developed and released by Atlus in 1994.
The character set of this font was notably expanded with many additional special characters, diacritic variants, unique glyphs, and the like, each one of them designed to match the spirit and style of the original font design. Also included is the full original set of Japanese characters.
To recreate the original in-game appearance of this font, I recommend to choose font sizes that are multiples of 7pt and avoid any anti-aliasing or other font smoothing methods.

This is a clone of Monster Friend Fore FontThe font used in Super Mario 64 when speaking to people or reading signs. These characters are mostly derived from the game and used to recreate the font. Glyphs such as the asterisk and curly bracket are made with modified or existing characters used in-game (star instead of asterisk, curly bracket made from parenthesis, etc.)
This is a 6 pixel font based on the first alpha release of Dungeon Keeper from a surviving video I found on youtube. There are two fonts one smaller and one larger. This is the reproduction of the smaller font. The square look of W and M as well as U Q O S G C J give it a unique character and help it stay readable at small sizes. Main drawback of this font is that is very small and somewhat jarring/difficult to look at.
