PERF is a combination of Upper Case and Unicase/Alternates. The “PERF family” also has several decorative variants that can be layered to achieve different effects. This is a clone of PERF punch1 + 3D

This font is based on the signature of one of my favourite cartoonists, Al Hirschfeld. Because of this, I copied a few of the letters and invented many, and therefore I am unsure about the descenders for Q and J, and the widths of M, N, V, and W.

A mix between tribal african - turkish designs and circus designs. Uppercase is definitely stronger than lowercase. Inspired by opipik's fs accordian, which is much cleaner

I created this typeface during my first term studying Graphic Design at UWE.My typeface is based on the theme compressed. I looked into the way that buildings in particular tower blocks are slotted together and the shapes they create. It's currently unfinished there's still a few bits and bobs that need tweaking. Any comments would be appreciated!

Inspired by beate. My third ScriptComp entry. Some letters are more like 'connected italic' than a 'traditional' script. Press the grave accent to get the Th ligature.
UPDATES:07/11/13-???
I've added some ligatures and a few diacritics, as well as the ampersand & a few more punctuation marks. Currently working on more of Basic Latin, it may take me a while... V1.1.0
11/22/13 My first 100-downloads font! Thanks so much to everyone who downloaded.
12/13/13 I've gently smoothed the connections on most letters. V1.2.1

Inspired by a legendary font Motter Ombra. Similar fonts on FS include zombra eYe/FS, Kitara etc. Dombra is a national musical instrument of Kazakhstan and many other countries. Thanks and enjoy!

Initially contemplating the concept of fluidity, looking at handwritten brush types, lead me to the idea of continuity and landed me with the category of 'continuous.' The central influence leading me to this final typeface was a Social Network diagram, where lines meet seemingly infinitely. The final product ended in a decorative, kinetic font with the use of negative space to create the emerging letters. With the typeface being difficult to read on first inspection, and the overall look of the font makes its uses limited, however I feel it could be successful in many event posters/leaflets etc.

This fs may be used on it's own, but it is designed to be used in conjunction with fs Stack Overflow so any two letters may be stacked one on top of another to create interesting word shapes and unconventional flow.
It looks simple but the execution was surprisingly involved. The idea was to do the letters in as few bricks as possible. Filters. 1.75...to be exact. Again, the geometry did not work out because custom bricks had to be formed to create the fine breaks and they did not line up with the assumed filter. A little bit of algebra later (yes kids, algebra does help in real life) 1.6 was determined as the proper filter setting.
Having built the letters as desired, with many a tweak before finalization, it was on to Overflow, which necessitated a reduction of the letters in half. That was easier said than done because of the filters. Some of the letters just did not translate exactly at half scale at 1.6 filter. Had to scrap the whole thing.
The only option remaining was to double the size and use the double size glyphs for Stack and move the existing Stack glyphs to Overflow. Doubling allowed finer glyph construction. Plenty of diversions later, what came out as reasonable was a strict following of my own grid. Figures.
It is now to the point where I can send it out in the world. I must do that before I do the sample because both thalamic and minimum accounts give a 500 Server Error when attempting a download. Luckily, I have yet another secret account which I will use to attempt download. I hope that works because I am in no mood to build words by taking screenshots and copy/pasting individual letters.
This was supposed to be a simple idea with a simple execution. It should not have taken this long. I'm really curious to see how successful the idea was. Here goes...

I wanted a font that looked a bit 'unsure'. It is for my grandson who is just 8 months old but already fascinated by and very interested in helping his dad on the computer when we have a video call :) I realise he won't use "his" font for a few years ;)

I am starting on a set of matching fonts, based on lines. This is the first one, to see some ideas take shape. So far so good...

Made for fun and to relax my brain... it is based on sci-fi and old game console fonts. It looks better in smaller sizes.

Inspired by the great space related action-horror video game by the same name, Dead Space is a display font that is best for retro themed pieces. The blocky build and the dotted fade on the side modernizes this crazy spacey font, while the serifs makes contrast. Some letters fall on a slant to shake things up.

This font was adopted from Toraja's Traditional house, Tongkonan and paqbulu londong pattern.
