Excellent start. The overshoots work well and the tear-shaped counters give this a very distinct character.

The thing is, I'm not good when it comes to real typeface design, this is just a tip for those who can ).

Very nice quirky slab serif! Lowercase L and Z might look a bit too small when used in text. 10+fav
