Official font of AMFA (Yvidora), the main rival of MARENGI Omnisystems in Endless Sea Of Stars. Appears throughout my games (especially those using the ESOS and ESOS-Lite engines) and is used as the main font of Terminal A.
Between 2012 and 2014, ESOS Journey-Depth AI entities collaborated to produce this specific arrangement of pixels as the most legible form of 1px-line, monochrome 8x8 Latin for electro-optical systems (Marinan Interpretability Value 9.29).
This font is useful if you want to write some really efficient text recognition software for a robot with a camera, or if you want a pixel font which elicits a high degree of reading accuracy. Some would argue that the uppercase makes it less readable, but you'll be hard pressed to find another font that is THIS readable in uppercase only! To my knowledge, the only possible arrangements which are more readable than this are not nearly as visually balanced as this.
This font never had a lowercase. That is how it was and will be. The lowercase is thus a clone of the uppercase, so that one need not change the casing of one's text to display it in this font. Feel free to clone this if that bothers you, but don't expect to duplicate the results! :DThis is a clone
Yet another polygonal font, this time a diamond. :^)
This one was also designed to combine symmetry and asymmetry. Some letters have central lines and some have offset lines. In this way a greater variety of designs was made possible.
I changed the X. The original looked better, but also looked maybe a bit too much like a manji or swastika for peoples' liking. If you have thoughts on this matter, please post them.
(Also see "Gremlin Skins" for the original 16x16 pixel version.)
Another experimental font for texturing work. This one uses only an 8x8 grid, but since it isn't pixel art, a much greater variety of patterns is possible. Every glyph in the font repeats as a seamless texture in both directions.
At present most of these patterns have a 2x2 structure as their basis. Expect lots of pinwheel-/houndtooth-esque glyphs. I'll make more 4x4 and 8x8 structures as time goes on and I get better with all the bricks!
This font is ideal for high-res applications. Treat it like vector art. You can use it with or without antialiasing, depending on what you want. It looks good either way.
I welcome all suggestions. :^)
WORK IN PROGRESS!! ):) (:(
Sorry if the sone of the Kanji is unreadable, but I have to do it within an 8x8 grid...
6200 Glyphs Reached!!
The Tamil O, Oo, and Au shouldn't be used with this font.
For the O, Use E + Consonant + Aa; for the Oo, Use Ee + Consonant + Aa; For the Au, Use E + Consonant + Au Length Mark.
A fan-favorite for many gaming geeks! A blast from the past from the 1980s! A video game font that everybody has came to know and love over the years! No quarters are required for this nostalgic font, but a FontStruct account is! Just give it the ol' TrueType download, and you're all good to go!This is a clone of KonaM
Latin block is traced from Linux stock VGA8 font. Designed to fit 8x8 grid including spacing, so most symbols are 7x7 =WARNING= Line spacing is stuck and cannot be edited within FontStruct, you can edit it manually, see http://designwithfontforge.com/en-US/Line_Spacing.html for example.
