Cloned from Aidenfont's "Amogphabet" who seemed to have been inspired by the shapes of "Amogus"; I kept Aidanfont's name for my extended clone and added the "_A_" at the end (to indicate that this is the 1st extended clone of "Amogphabet" should other Fonstructors wish to extend further).
The original "s" is on LC, a different "S" is on the UC.
In this clone I adjusted word and letter spacing, added numerals, a few useful punctuation marks (even on 'More Latin'), all 'more Latin' letters and some on Latin1.
Creating the @ seemed an ideal project, the basic shape of the "A" invites the change. I designed 3 different versions of "@" but didn't find a shape that would flow with surrounding glyphs.
This is a clone of AmogphabetWhile looking for a pixel font, I came across Pumpkin Font by SparklyDest. I liked it, but also noticed some inconsistencies and a lot of missing characters that I needed. Although I could have simply chosen another font, I instead decided to rework the original to adapt it to my needs.
OBJECTIVES
·My primary goal is to create all the Latin characters as well as the Google Fonts basic. This will already take me some time, but once done, I may consider working on other alphabets.
·My first task was to adjust letters height and width for a more consistent font. I did my best to ensure that characters within the same category have a uniform format, and when this proves difficult to achieve, I strive to get as close as possible.
·I might revisit characters that I already made. I'm learning as I create, and I may identify modifications to make gradually. If you have any ideas or advice, please feel free to share!
DONE
·Basic Latin
WORKING ON
·More Latin
·Extended Latin A
·Extended Latin B
·Even More Latin
Another (large) set of brick composites.
There are most likely a number of duplicate bricks, not inside this collection itself, but when cross-referenced with todays earlier published collection there most likely are! Nonetheless I think they shouldn't be pulled from the project and should remain included in this collection as well.
All the bricks are saved in "MY BRICKS" pallet.
=============================================
The idea for this was to encourage new Fontstruct users into looking past the editors limitations and work-arounds by way of demonstrating some hands-on examples and ideas. I hope this might inspire people to build upon these ideas and make their own sets of composites for their fonts.
The collection isn't a one stop shop for custom composites, but rather just a random useful set of bricks. To peek inside the stacked composite layout and find out how it was build enable "Expert Mode" inside the editor and press "o" on the keyboard, this switches the editor to "Outline" view mode.
If you like to request specific composite configurations, have ideas for A future update or simply having a question, just let me know in the comment section.
Thats it for now, the project is cloneable, feel free to copy, (re-)use, abuse, expand and /-or redistribute, Enjoy!
Cheers
This is a cloneMy first font attempt.
Based out of "Video Tape", this font emulates VCR bitmaps.
This is a clone of Video TapeA pixel perfect recreation of the PDP-11 terminal font, including Cyrillic characters from the Elektronica 60 in case you want to recreate the original Tetris ;) Note that the Terminal stretches the font vertically by 200%
This is a cloneUsed to create barcodes. The code should be in parenthases and two parts separated in space. Before space write the digits, after it - a letter under the digit in lowercase. Example: (7726 etqe)
Note: if your keyboard layout is QWERTZ, please write the Z in uppercase.
Thank you Ryan for this font, you've found some great solutions for several glyphs which are 'tricky' due to the compact style you've chosen.
Changes made are : Nudging and stacking became necessary. Added /:|;\=]}£€~{[ Added glyphs (incl LC and UC "ß" , also the specific national quotation marks ) for people in German and French speaking countries and in those countries where German and/or French is a co-national or region-based language.
This is a clone of Vibrational Tri(Credit to Paradigm The Great for the original typeface.)
This is the second font I've made so far and currently my "dream font", if such a thing like that exists.
I've never seen a typeface with a capital R, S, and number 4 like this one, as the only one I've come across by the beginning of August 2023 would be "Videotape", however even that would be misaligned and wonky. This font is the sequel to my first font, "Tracking Knobs", but with more glyphs and lowercase letters.
