I was bored with the flu at home and then...
@meek: Thank you veeery much for this new pink label, dear Gran Jefe!
PS: Little improvements on A and s.
Loving this! only problem I can think of is half the time I can't actually tell what letters I'm looking at, but that might just be a me problem.
I hope you're feeling well afterwards…
I hope you feel well soon
@Gr4fty & @BWM & @James Holmes: Thanks a lot, pals!
Reminds me a lot of when i was a kid playing on old word processing software on old computers and setting the font to be as bold as possible. Feel better soon amigo
"Pixel design is my passion"
A fine filled counter pixel font! Your first sample could be the beginnings of a new colour font...
Hope you'll feel better soon!
@Noah F. Ross & @Miguelcabrerisso: Thank you so much for your kind words and desires, pals.
@four: Thanks, compañero! Glad you like it. And the fine line is a good idea to try these days at home. (Btw, the flu is taking a while to pass, but I think it's near to finish).
So, it's what you do when you're bored... :-D
Very, very nice!
@laynecom:You make me blush, master ☺️. This time I've not designed the glyphs in my notebook, as I usually do. I started and finished the font directly in FontStruct from my laptop. Since there were no bricks to nudge or modify, it was entertaining and quite easy to gradually complete letters...
That new s is much better!
Thanks a million for your continuous kind comments and support, dear FS' bro in arms!
Super fat slab serif in pixel style. (It's not a real pixel font, but it's close.) The strokes are so thick they completely hide the counters. Some letters are hard to recognise, but overall the text rendered with it is legible. Wonderful demo picture. I didn't know having the flu was so beneficial. 10/10
@Dear Frodo7: Thank you very much for your always kind words about my fonts, Maestro. But if you look closely at how the glyphs are made, you will see that they were the product of a trial/error process, filling in an area of overlapping squares and eliminating some of them until finding the shape of the letter (I had first designed them with 1:1 filter, then I moved them to 2:2, etc..., I was just playing). Glad you like the sample too.
@elmo
hope you feel better
