Unicase with alternates. I've used Astronef Super (by excellent typographer JF Porchez) and others like Neil Bold (by the inspirer Wayne Stettler) as a starting reference, but I've redesigned the general aspect of all the glyphs and added a lot of new details, which makes this font quite different and special. I like to review and get a personal second look at some already released fonts, and I like to do this in FS. Thanks again for support me and understand that.
Unicase font with alternates. Special characters: Blank space at the "\", "LT" pair (kerned) at the "fi" ligature and the "TJ" pair is at the "fl" too. Better to see the font at big size. Enjoy and Happy New Year 2023!
This is a cloneSince I could not find "non-eroded" version of a source font that I like a lot, I decided to make my own clone. When at it I tweaked some letters (A, K, W, Y, 5) to my liking and left the lowercase as variations. Also added few letters with diacritics from my region.
This is a clone of zeeglo eYe/FSXploring thin sides.
This is a clone of zlowler2 eYe/FSThanks to ETHproductions for the improved curve finish. There is a second "s" (slightly more rounded) and an alternate curvy "y" placed on the "fi" and "fl" glyphs respectively.
This is a cloneA variant of Marrada with more angles.
Usually with designs I try to make every part look like it "belongs" with the others as opposed to trying to make each part look its best. With Marrada, I struck a balance between the two. Q1@*&{} are probably the best examples of this sort of balance...
This is a clone of MarradaThis font is another of the products that a challenge as lively as TwentiesComp generates in FontStruct. You spend two weeks (or more) devising and building original and competitive fonts in a crazy race, but your brain does not stop when the Comp is over and continues through the nooks and crannies that you had demanded of it before, searching and producing new suggestions. This was one of those post-hoc ideas that came up when the fonts to present were already finished. Hope I don't detract too much with it the great level that this Comp has had. Thanks for your compreension.
Another "little" font: only 1,5 bricks x-height (2 bricks for the upercase) with 2:2 filters. Inspired -just only the rounded aspect- by the great Frankfurter font, whose original (heavy) weight was designed by Bob Newman in the Letraset studio and issued in 1970. In 1978, Medium (the only style to include a lowercase, by Alan Meeks) and Highlight (by Nick Beishaw) were added. Inline (by Studio) followed in 1981. Our well know FSr escaphandro build Choripán, an excellent actualization of the classic font. BTW, my accents and other few glyphs must be improved. WIP.
This font was inspired by stac typeface © Goh Yam Hwee, from StRANGE DESIGN, located in Singapore. The original character set have only 36 glyphs, but I've remaked the rest that you can see in this font, all from a different point of view, you see (they are 123 just now, and counting...).
