My first entry for Serifcomp. Originally created in 2013, when I still had little knowledge about the finer details of type design. I've made major changes to the original design while trying not to lose its original feel (avoiding diagonal strokes, for example). I ended up making major changes to M, Q, T, W, f, k, m, q, r, t, and w, and minor changes to a bunch more; a ton of kerning was also required. It's not very polished yet, but it's a start...
Some alternates are available in Latin Extended A. As always, suggestions and critiques are welcome. Thanks and enjoy!

Recreation of the pixel font used in Exidy's "Rip Cord" (1979). Almost exactly the same as Exidy's "Robot Bowl" (1977) - which in turn seems to have inspired Taito's "Circus" (1977) and "Space Invaders" (1978) - with the most prominent difference in the letter "K" and the overall lack of punctuation/special characters. Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.This is a clone of Space Invaders (extended)

The classic pixel font from the early days of video games - Taito's "Space Invaders" (1978). An early version of this font was already used in games like Taito's "Circus" (1977) and Exidy's "Robot Bowl" (1977). This extended edition also includes additional characters found in later games, like Taito's "Lunar Rescue" (1979), "Space Chaser" (1979), Exidy's "Crash" (1979) and SNK's "Ozma Wars" (1979).

The typeface was created with influence from fonts used on circus posters, I wanted it to come across as quite flamboyant with a sleek, more modern undertone which I think I have achieved with the thin vertical lines. Following my ‘ornate’ theme I also wanted to keep each letter very attractive making each letter look like an ornament but also if used a full body text still holds this ornamental theme.

Decorative western/circus font, inspired by Rosewood, Zebrawood and similar fonts. The lc are with inverted fill... Hope you like it! :) Check out the stencil version of this too, for a more rugged style...
