I stacked some propeller bricks and some composites of the kite bricks, which allowed me to make a nice lightning bolt inside each letter's bowl.

I thought I might use the new bricks to create an update of Black Metal. The result, however, was more like a steampunk thingy but more organic...

This looks more like a font for a techno metal band (Metalectronica?) than I originally intended, but I think it is still handy. I made this to use as a pixel-perfect font for a game after no slanted or rounded outline fonts fit the bill. Numbers are taller than the x-height, but slightly shorter than the capital letters. The name is meant to sound like it fits in an ancient myth (Echidna was the mother of many beasts that featured prominently in Greek mythology), but also referenced the spiky nature of the font (the echidna is also a little australian mammal covered in spikes).

Hunstrüct is my first attempt at designing a contemporary blackletter typeface within Fontstruct. The typeface draws inspiration from the long tradition of German Fraktur styled blackletters. The name Hunstrück is taken from a mountain range in Germany called the Hunsrück. Primarily I was aiming to build a face that would work well as a display type for gig posters and larger headlines but as I reworked the typeface I tried to strike a balance between text and display.
Big thanks goes to djnippa for his hard work in spacing this font properly.

Remigius wasn't metal enough. Added another pixel of vertical line width and cut the counters to just one pixel. Now it's ready for the that MAYHEM tattoo you always wanted. Clone of Remigius. Rip of Ironwood. This is a clone of Remigius

Simple Matters, originally designed for a logo. I wanted to use a 5 square grid and the effect of cut out metal plates.

Font idea taken from the typography from posters for the Smashing Pumpkins Arising tour, back in 1999. As williaum has pointed out, that font is Ironwood. It occurred to me that it would make a very easy Fonstruction. And it was! It's the perfect font for your iron-on Motorhead t-shirt decal. Named after the curmudgeon monk in "Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follet.

This was inspired by the fonts I used to draw in DeluxePaint on my Amiga a long time ago. Heavy metal meets constructivism.
