Small changes were made some characters but the biggest change is the improved compatability with 3D software such as Blender.

Black Duck is a typeface that is inspired from modern-blackletter typeface and duck characteristics combined. That's "ligatures" backward. It is titled this because all of the capital letters are ligatures. A=fi B=fl C=ff D=ffi E=ffl F=ft I made up the design of most of the letters, but some of them are classical calligraphic style. Enjoy my all-lc pixellised blackletter font!

Una fuente para titulo que utiliza una caja de 5x4. Tiene ciertas referencias a las tipos góticas (fraktur o similares) aunque se nutre de algunos modernismos como la insinuación del serif en algunos caracteres. Aún así la estructura está basada en una palo seco encajonada (Bank Gothic, por dar un ejemplo) aunque condensada. Tuve el interés de desarrollarla a través de un trabajo de marca realizado en la facultad. La idea era que una cinta formara cada caracter, aunque en una familia tipográfica esto se complica, por lo que opto por que se pierda un poco eso y darle preponderancia a la legibilidad y equilibrio en las formas.

Designed as part of a university project. I studied ornate Circus and Carnival style lettering which often incorporate intricate detailing within the letters. I have attempted to blend a particular lattice pattern with blackletter-style letter forms.
