ABOUT THE FONT
7 Segment Display is a Font using only 7 Segments that can turn off or on independently to display number, letters, symbols and more, but some characters are compermised!
FONT VARIENTS
This is only 1 of 4 variants of the 7 Segment Display font lineup:
- 7 Segment Display
- 7 Segment Display (Lowercase)
- 7 Segment Display (Full Lines)
- 7 Segment Display (Lowercase + Full Lines)
ABOUT THIS VARIANT
7 Segment Diplay is the default variant, having no connetcion between Segments, other that the rounding (exept some characters)
This font displays each character as a seven segment representation of the binary value of the character according to the GSM 7-bit alphabet. The commercial at (@) has been swapped with the space as I don't know how I could have a blank character that isn't space. I put the escape character in place of the reverse solidus (\), and I put the carriage return and line feed characters in the place of the left and right square brackets respectively, as these characters are not represented in fonts.
This is a cloneRecreation of the pixel font from Ocean's "Addams Family Values" (1995) on the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis.
Note the skull character, mapped to "skull and crossbones" (U+2620).
Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.
Sonic for the Sega CD.

This is a clone of SonicI was making some new bricks to add to Brick Basket when the idea of a segmented display made from composites occurred to me. The result is this experimental 25-segment display.
This achieves some interesting "double line"/"folded line" effects. It also gets some pecuilar distortions at smaller sizes.
A thin proportional font, based on the title sequence of the Bitmap Brothers' "Chaos Engine" (1993).
Designed to be used aliased at a size of 9px (or multiples thereof).
Originally created in 2004 based on the Amiga version, and extended in 2012. Repackaged in 2022, with a small tweak to the exclamation, question, and quote marks, and the addition of the ampersand from the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis and SNES versions.
Last (hopefully) final tweaks now 27/08/2022, fixing the "G", "V", "X", "1", "9", adding a copyright symbol, and tweaking the spacing and vertical position of some of the punctuation marks, referencing the SNES version some more.
While walking through Glitch Forest, you spot a sudden movement behind the Sprite Trees. It's [EVIL_ANGATONIST]! With a twisted smile, s/he/it converts your words into text written in this font. ZOUNDS! How will you get through summer school now?

This was made to reproduce an amusing glitch found in MIDAS which caused insanely high ratings of 17.3×10^213 (17.3 septuagintillion). The glitch has since been fixed.
