Basically square, contemporary typeface with slanted corners replacing curved elements. Looks best in headlines, but works for text as well due to a quite comprehensive character set.
Also available in bold style. This is a clone

No you can't buy a MELKÖ at IKEA. MELKÖ is free here on Fonstruct.

At small size the font become solid and look like it's build with different bricks than only dot.

A basic design principle, namely to emulate newspaper headline type. A few details to be worked out, but it's pretty much there. Seems to work well at all sizes.

I'm a big fan of big fat font.
This is a modest essay.
I try to find a way for skinnier glyph like T or Y to does'nt look to thin compare to rest of font.
Unhappy with the G,H,7
crit and suggestion are welcome
Was'nt sure as well if I should do a monocase font, I tend to prefer when "Space" is not to large.

Ultra heavy slab serif uppercase only face, subtly celebrating the 4x1 diagonals of fontstruct 2.0...
I hope some people will find more stylish uses for this than on college shirts/jumpers. It actually wasn't intended to have that standard college slab serif look, and I desperately believe that there's still a nuance of difference, but that might be an illusion.
I btw just copied the uppercase letters on lowercase slots to make it more convenient. So don't be too impressed by the character count.;)

A new member of the Afro-family is born: Afroblack, another version of Afrobeat without any horizontal lines. Although I changed only a couple of details it has a very different feeling. Take a look at the example! I´m not sure about the numbers, probably a few of them have need to be reworked. What do you think?

Clone of Afrobeat Regular. Same lc as Afrobeat Regular, but with small caps and small numbers. You have many different possibilities to combine the letters, take a close look at the example. Looks smoother and more balanced to me. What do you think? More glyphs to come.

Another bold condensed filter-type, with a funky 70s-feeling (especially the lowercase). Inspired by Apollo & Samoa.
I didn´t like the Uppercase, so I tried out a few more things with Afrobeat II. Be sure to take a look at both! I´m open for suggestions.
More glyphs to come...

Version 2.2 has improvements to the capital o and q as well as the dollar sign.
Version 2.1 has more Latin characters and more punctuation. Also, there are a few modifications to character widths. The old letter designs were almost monospaced. The new varied widths should help with character recognition even at smaller sizes.
This is a FontStruct version of the type I designed for my identity. This translation seemed like a logical one. My original concerns for my identity type were modularity, proportion and weight. These characteristics make both the inspiration and its FontStruct cousin perfect for bold headlines and being extruded in 3D.
Stay tuned for further updates. This is a clone

A Solid Bold Block Display Font. I wanted to make my own version of a very popular style of face for a poster design. It's a tricky game trying to be as minimal as possible yet retaining legibilty. I think I managed to get the balance right. Holla if you have any feedback!

Inspired by Emigre's John Downer and his gorgeous Brothers and Council typefaces. The wild west theme is prevalent giving it a "general store" signage feel.
