Inspired by a lace edged table cloth. Good for a word of greeting on a card for Easter (or Ostara, but you're a day late ;) so you best grab it for next year... ) It would be great to use on cards, labels, book bindings, for someone doing needlework, crochet, knitting, tatting, macramé, sewing, stencil work and similar paper or thread based crafts.
This is a clone of Kerbe2As part of my "First of month ..." series here is an outline font for July, ready to fill with juicy summer fruit and (ice) cream :)
Alternative letters with diacritics (free floating instead of attached, easier to read but less fun to look at;) ) are on the LC for French and German texts. An alternative 'S' which doesn't quite follow the construction rules but might be of interest, is on the LC 's'.
This font was inspired by crockery decorated with a name which I saw offered in a car boot sale. My font's UC has delicately decorated glyps, visible before food is placed on the plates; LC shows plates after the meal, with food remnants covering/filling parts of glyphs ;)
A while ago I designed the Circe family; it is quite elegant and fine. This new version, based on Circe1, has thicker lines without being bold. This meant changing a few letter shapes and lines. While it can be used with the others I would discourage mixing the normal weight versions with this one due to the structural changes to many letters.
This is a cloneI recently saw a type face with bits missing and thought "Looks interesting, can I do something with this idea?". I used one of my older sans designs but soon discovered that I needed serifs to get logic to the gaps ;) So I started work on a good serif design to use as the base. Here is my interpretation of what I saw, it looks rather different from the one that inspired me.
For April Fool's day I propose a font that requires some "fooling around". I hope that your brain will get your fingers working correctly ;) Beware of the punctuation. Have fun puzzling this out to write correct letters (yesyes it is possible)
A long time ago I doodled some glyphs on paper and recreated them in the Fontstructor. They took definite shape with the variety of bricks available as I adjusted the design when actually working with the bricks. The original glyphs became part of a new font which stayed dormant for a long time because I had other font projects to work on. While looking for a font to suit my font-a-month series I revived this design, polished the UC, added LC and numbers. The airy look is ideal for summer as ot looks like bites taken out of grilled food.
Hope you enjoy this year's summer foods :)
inspired by old computer fonts
This is a clone of Gamaeo reglrA decorative font to celebrate my birthday month :) Inspired by Art Deco elements I saw on a shop window and one of my early designer-cizes (did I just invent this word??lol) which thankfully I had kept private ;) because it was too muddle-messy to show.
I think that this version looks good enough to offer as my June freebee :D
I'll add further diacritics to complete the 'More Latin' band if somebody needs them
