Squarish, thick theme. More Latin, some Latin extended, and simple Greek support. Quite much math symbols too.

UPDATE: I have altered the letters 'U', 'H' and 'X' in order to increase legibility. - 14/11/11
The outcome of my first Graphic Design project at the University of the West of England. This typeface is based on the designated theme of 'Evil'. As the project developed I began to move away from the rather stereotypical 'dark' imagery commonly associated with evil and approached the topic in a different, light-hearted manner. This led me onto the theme of villainy in popular culture, from film to video games. The classic ghosts of the arcade game Pac-Man are designed with such consideration - they are required to communicate both character and threat to the player, whilst still falling within the limitations of the 1980s hardware. As a result, these creatures personify the concept of 'evil stripped down to its essential forms.'

Redesigning the pixel font. Built on a 50x30 grid, this masterpiece is a pixel font that is decomposing. Enjoy! Each "pixel" is 10 by 10 grid squares. The idea was from "Metropolis" by ackfla.

The first in a series/family of fonts I am dubbing "Origins", I'll be doing variants of this font to create a varied and flexible family. With nearly 800 glyphs, the chances of a missing character are very small here!
If you use this, or have suggestions/improvements/requests, let us know.
(currently updating this in conjunction with the creation of a serif version of this font, mainly fixing inconsistencies though)

A pixel-city. That means it is a pixelated city. A city that is made of pixels. PIXELS, not bricks.
The letters are as follows:
A--Capitol building
B--Plain building
C--Building cluster 1
D--Factory
E--Building cluster 2
F--Building cluster 3
G--Twin buildings
H--Building cluster 4
I--Bridge
J--Skyscraper #1
K--Central Park
L--Huge Building
M--Double Skyscrapers
N--Plain building #2
O--Plain Building #3
P--Airport
Q--Skyscraper
R--Burned-down building
S--Burned-down building 2
T--Space Needle (creds to my friend)
Space--Road
I'll probably add more buildings. Maybe another factory... I dunno.

It only goes up to the letter P, for Peace. I'm not sure if writing the word "Peace" disqualifies me...
I realize that this is not an original idea, so bear with me. It's my first entry into the Illustration Competition.

This is my first fontstruction for a typeface project at UWE. I chose to make a font under the theme “repetition” and wanted to create a simple, pixel art styled typeface with certain continuous elements in it to make my theme clear for the viewer. 1Lifer is a display font inspired of gaming culture, especially the 80s' classic arcade games, such as Tetris, early Super Mario Bros. and Space Invaders. I found the tiled shapes used in these games as a helpful resource to creating my own font – 1Lifer is also made from simple, pixel based forms. I was also inspired by the gaming arcades' bright, blinking lights. The name of the font stems from terms in relation to gaming and is a playful merge between the two expressions "1 up" and "no lifer."

Well My First Fontstruction. It's very primitive, just getting used to the system and so I made this smooth pixelated font.

A classic monospaced 5x7 pixel font, simulating 5x7 LCD character displays. A few special characters are included, and some Greek characters are mapped to non-standard 8-bit character codes for access in non-Unicode systems. This is a clone

Shackalack has a half-tone feel when text is really large, and a complimentary serifed font when used as body text.
