This Fonstruction was created in my first year studying graphic design at UWE. The design brief was to create a typeface using the key word; 'ornate'. I have taken heavy influence from gothic fonts and architecture, looking in particular at religion and religious texts. I welcome all comments and constructive criticism, thank you :)This is a clone

A font comprising of different arrow head shapes. There are fonts that amalgamate different icons, but this font is purely arrows. I would appreciate any feedback for improvement or comments.

This san serif is a typeface using geometric, and digital inspiration. The use of the terminals is some of the letters was in an attempt to keep the lines from not being doubled up with a thick width. The end result is a simple san serif.

A set of two capitals created using only one compound of object on a larger bit depth. Each letter sequentially overlaps the other to create a thicker weight. However, in doing so every other letter would not overlap with the other, ie A with C, C with E, so on. So the other set was created by manipulating the first set, allowing any letter form to overlap with each other by switching between either capital or lower case.

I love chocolate, it's tasty stuff. So I've designed a cheap and cheerful typeface to express how I feel.

i created this font as part of a graphic design project while studying at uwe. i chose the theme of decay and after research and development decided to go with the idea of radioactive decay. i really like the particle effect. the inspiration for this came from images from electron microscopes i found during my research. the build up of particles that make up solid objects is really interesting to me. i wanted to capture the idea of the many tiny particles so i made my font rather large using many circular tiles to gain detail in my letters.

This is the font I have designed for the first module in my Graphic Design degree at UWE Bristol.
My typeface is based on the word 'Energy'.
The design journey started with me looking into electrical energy, and the result (See: "Fused Font Thin") led me to explore magnetic energy patterns within iron fillings. Next, during the process of creating a magnetic energy typeface I saw similarities with sound waves in my designs, and so also tried to combine the two. The result was "Energy Vibration".
Lots of energy drinks were consumed for inspiration and staying up for hours trying to battle the server. Full character set now complete.

I created this typeface when set a typography task on my Graphic Design project at UWE. My chosen theme is 'Energy' I took this further by looking into energy drinks and their existing products' labels at the moment. I was inspired by the effective look of bubbles so based my typeface on this. Every letter's bubbles are different which makes it a unique font. This typeface would be best suited promoting events, products and maybe awareness advertising that are linked with fizziness, water or drinks etc. This is a clone

I researched electrical energy and tried to create an electrical fuse/spark typeface. The result reminded my of iron fillings and so I went on to create "Energy Vibration"

My name is Geostruct Grotesque and I'm a typeface. I love grotesque and gothic type fonts, particularly with vertical exaggeration; so I set out with this in mind and here's the result. Love Trade Gothic & Univers Condensed.

So here it is...Green Eyed Girl.
This project at UWE Bristol was to create a typefacd based around one word; so I looked into the word 'Curves' (which I probabily will never do again) and eventually came up with this. The idea came from looking at curves in lizards and vines, then linking the curvy-reptile theme with Medusa - hence 'Green Eye'.
Originally I was going to base it on a serif typeface but found that far too difficult on Fontstruct so used aggressive strait lines - similar to pre-historic drawings - to provide contrast against the seductive curves to make it seem like an Evil Temptress. The serif's are there to add authority.
So thats Green Eyed Girl by me...Sophina B.
*I think it may need tweaking in the sense that I've aligned each letter to the edge of the curve rather than the edge against the serif or stem. *

A deviation in concept and design from a previous project I had created. Utilizing the same parts and pieces I had used without the strict criteria.

This is a narrow font with clear corners and modern style. Ideal for typing and composing documents.
