My first serious fontstruction, inspired by insects and other exoskeletal creatures. I have to say it looks pretty dang sweet, even if it has to be at least like 50 px tall in order for the fiddly details to fully emerge.
I'm not very happy with the "floaty" solution used for K, V, and X, and N, Z, and ? are a bit cramped, but I think I did the best I could under the circumstances and I suppose they don't look too bad.

Based on the relationship between ink and water, experimenting with the way the two liquids merge and the variation of patterns they create. The font does not follow one distinct pattern, it displays the variation of impressions these two fluids can create. The typeface is a display font, not designed to be used for large bodies of text.
My theme was messy. I began looking into paint and the effect it can give when the ink runs out towards the end of the stroke. This led me to looking into graffiti and the 'messy' appearance it can give a place. I took photographs on my way home from Arnolfini of any typographic graffiti I came across and I traced the ones I was fond of. I particularly liked this one that had drips at a slight angle as it was written on a slant so I reproduced my own interpretation of it.
A pixel art homage to Century.

This is a clone of Millennium BoldDesigned as part of my university course, this font is based around the word 'squishy', taking inspiration from body forms, shapes and the creases which are created from these body types. The emphasis is not so much around the shape itself, but the negative space between them. It started with the A which looked like a car and then the S which looked like a car with a flashing light on the roof. The other letters just came in shivering from the cold weather.
This is a clone of Lord TremoloIt is a semi_serif stencil display typeface. I inspired it from the stencil typeface which released in 1937. It consists of only capital letters with thick main strokes, and with breaks in the face.I added some serif in the edges and tried to make kind of movement in some parts in the character.
