Recreation of one of the pixel fonts from Video System's "Aero Fighters" (aka "Sonic Wings", 1992). This font is used for the pilot names and post-level taunts. Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.
Recreation of the large pixel font from Human Entertainment's "Android Assault: The Revenge of Bari-Arm" (aka "Bari-Arm", 1993) on the Sega CD/Sega Mega-CD.
Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.
Recreation of the large pixel font from Taito's "Darius" (1987), also reused in "Darius II" (1989).
In the tile set for "Darius", the "$" was missing a few pixels - this was addressed in "Darius II", and this recreation contains the dollar sign from the latter version.
Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.
Recreation of the large pixel font from IGS' "Demon Front" (2002) - its hommage to/ripoff of "Metal Slug" (1996).
This variant is used primarily in the highscore screen.
Only the character present in the game's tile set have been included.

This is a clone of Double Dragon V (Large) (SNES)Recreation of the large pixel font from TechnoSoft's "Elemental Master" (1990) on the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis.
This font is used for all the cinematics and end credits.

Recreation of the large pixel font from Capcom's "Final Fight" (1989).
This font is used in the intro cinematic. In the original, the double quotes are awkwardly split over two tiles. This recreation combines them into a single character. The recreation also corrects the missing antialiasing in the "3". However, it retains the original minus/dash (as seen in the character bio sheets), which is far too high.
This recreation uses the special TTF+SVG format, which currently has limited support. As the font relies on antialiasing, I did not create a separate monochromatic version of the font.
Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.
This is a cloneRecreation of the large pixel font from Julian Gollop/Target Games' "Laser Squad" (1988) on the Amstrad CPC, ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, and MSX.
This font is simply a double-height version of the regular font.
Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.
This is a clone of Laser SquadRecreation of the large pixel font found in the BIOS for IGS' "PolyGame Master (PGM)" (1997 - 2005) arcade system board - used for boot warnings and settings screens.

Recreation of the large pixel font from Data East's "Shackled" (aka "Breywood", 1986).
This font is used primarily for the highscore screen. While each character uses four 8×8 tiles, in game the width of the characters is tweaked so that they're only 12 pixels wide (except for the three letters used for the highscore name itself, which use the full 16 pixel width), which is what this recreation uses.
Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.
Recreation of the large (16x16) pixel font from LJN/Software Creations' "Spider-Man and Venom: Maximum Carnage" (1994) on the SNES and Sega Mega Drive / Genesis. Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.

This is a clone of Street Fighter Alpha (Large)Recreation of the large pixel font from Capcom's "Street Fighter II: The World Warrior" (1991).
This font is used for the score, "You win"/"You lose"/"Bonus stage"/"Start !" messages, and the after-fight taunts.
Note that in the game, only the uppercase characters are used. In the ROM, the lowercase characters are vertically misaligned - this recreation fixes this, setting them to the same baseline as the uppercase. Apart from this change, only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.

This is a clone of Street Fighter II (Large)Recreation of the large pixel font from Atari's "Super Bug" (1977) and "Fire Truck" (aka "Smokey Joe", 1978).
In the games, the font is incomplete. Both lack a "Q", "V" and "W", which I made from scratch for this recreation, trying to approximate the overall style/feel. The "J" is present in "Super Bug", but not "Fire Truck". Conversely, the "K" is present in "Fire Truck" only.
With the exception of the added letters, only the characters present in the games' tilesets have been included.
