This font is based on the combination of a local culture and a traditional food. With combining thick and thin strokes, with adding a little bit of "tail" on the end of every glyphs, this font have a certain goal, which is to show the beauty of a city called Lamongan which is famous for it's traditional food: Pecel Lele.
Comments and critics are very welcomed. Thanks!:)
this font is based on chicken noodle shape of Depot Keluarga (one of a noodle stall in Surabaya, Indonesia). It has a small curve on its point to describe the elastic characteristic of the noodle. The noodle of Depot Keluarga has a thin size, so that this font has thin enough size too. Your comments and suggestions are welcome :)
This typeface adopted from Gado-Gado. Gado-gado is a deliciously comforting Indonesian mega salad served with crunchy prawn crackers and an incridibly delicious peanut dressing. This typeface look like tofu and circle of egg (bunder buktek-bunter kotak)
This typeface adopted from one of Indonesian food, called gado-gado. Gado-gado is a salad of raw and cooked vegetables in a spicy peanut sauce, often served with fried tofu and hard boiled eggs. I made this typeface inspired by the peanut sauce.
This typeface was made for my college task, typography 2. This typeface was meant to describe a stall named 'Cak Roni' that serves meatball or which is called as 'Bakso' in Indonesia. I made bold character as I know that bakso has big and round character.
This was inspired of a fried duck seller named Paijo. He was very humble and really funny. He treated the customers well. So, i made one inspired of his characters instead of the food that he sold. Classic yet fun.
This is is the most accurate HD44780 font you can find on FontStruct, because it has pixel-perfect representations of all 190 original characters (not including 0x00-0x0F, which are impossible on FontStruct)
0x00-0x0F are mapped to 0x100-0x10F since I can't add characters before 0x20.
This Typeface is for "PKL" means "Pedagang Kaki Lima" in Indonesia, PKL is individualy street foods. This one is Meatball street food. I'm using much round shape in this fonts. Meatball is really popular in Indonesia.
Inspired by the glass commonly used to drink coffee in "Warung Kopi". Warung Kopi are traditional coffee stands found in Indonesia. People (mostly men) often spend their time chatting, smoking, drinking coffee, or eating traditional snacks in these stands. These stands are often very simple, but provide a kind atmosphere to socialize with others..
