The shadows font is a cross between the youthful doodling you made in your textbooks as a teenager and the elegant sans-serif fonts of today. It combines youth and the older generation into one making a font that is young but wise. Inspiration was taken from an Umbro ad from when I was younger. The ad featured a font that I found eye catching as a younger teenager, reminding me of the way I used to write myself. With this inspiration in mind I have made a font that is for me and the whole of my generation

A Decorative Drop cap font influenced by children's blocks. Its large noticeable capitals make it suitable for posters and book covers. Each capital has its own unique boarder which gives the typeface a strong sense of playful variety. The simple lower case letters uses shadows to create a basic outline for the letter forms, but forces the viewers eyes to fill in the blanks.

A hard to read display font. Sorta stencil, although I wasn't really trying to make it stencil :P
I know M,W,E,R are kind of unrecognizable.

a typeface centred around the key theme/word 'shadow'. I started looking at how the time of day effected the shape and the size of the subsequent shadow cast. However, I then moved onto the ideas of bevels and a more subtle shadow effect created by raised centres of the letterforms. The 'impossible triangle' effect came from a idea that was brought up in a critique about 'extending it and making it really elaborate'. The name is chosen because I think that typefaces should have friendly names.
