While looking for a pixel font, I came across Pumpkin Font by SparklyDest. I liked it, but also noticed some inconsistencies and a lot of missing characters that I needed. Although I could have simply chosen another font, I instead decided to rework the original to adapt it to my needs.
OBJECTIVES
·My primary goal is to create all the Latin characters as well as the Google Fonts basic. This will already take me some time, but once done, I may consider working on other alphabets.
·My first task was to adjust letters height and width for a more consistent font. I did my best to ensure that characters within the same category have a uniform format, and when this proves difficult to achieve, I strive to get as close as possible.
·I might revisit characters that I already made. I'm learning as I create, and I may identify modifications to make gradually. If you have any ideas or advice, please feel free to share!
DONE
·Basic Latin
WORKING ON
·More Latin
·Extended Latin A
·Extended Latin B
·Even More Latin
Author of the original font: Patred
This is a clone of MC Ten DripThis is a specialty pixel font for 8x8 LED dot matrix displays. Its raison d'etre is to display the time (in 24h HH:MM format) and/or the temperature (with a precision of up to 1 decimal) in an esthetic and optimal manner on four 8x8 displays. Adding two more matrix displays will allow seconds and more decimals to be shown.
The font is proportional, but lacks kerning. The glyphs have one-pixel margins left and right to implement kerning, as it were, with the decimal point. Character spacing (or rather, digit spacing) is therefore 2 pixels.
In order to use the font with ESPHome without rendering issues, I opened the TrueType file with FontForge, added an 8-pixel bitmap (Elements>Bitmap Strikes Available...>Pixel Sizes: 8) and generated the font (File>Generate Fonts...) under a new file name, simasuu_8.ttf.
This is a cloneA 5x5 (Capital) or 4x5 (Small) pixel font derived from this one:

Also inspired by "Mars Needs Cunnilingus"
"SM" Stands for small :)
This is a clone of ZhnayukA font inspired by Undertale fonts, mainly the one used in battle where your name and LV is displayed.
Has both Latin English and Cyrillic Russian characters.
This is the first font I have ever made, please credit me if you use it, thank you!
Font copied from Dr. Cain Terminal by nthewhale but with addition Cyrillic font recreated from [RUS] roms
This is a clone of Dr. Cain TerminalThe Serif Font As Seen In Kirby's Adventure (NES).
Based on a pattern from _The Priscilla filet crochet book; a collection of beautiful designs in filet crochet, equally adapted to cross-stitch, beads and canvas, with working directions_ by Robinson, Belle; Priscilla Publishing Co (1911) p42. This version adds minuscule letters and basic symbols, and much simplified to emphasize the "holes" from the inspiration, removing side flourishes and flowers(?) that were the main elements of that design. This is a cloneA minimalist fraktur, broken down to the bare minimum of penstrokes. Based on the later more rounded typefaces with fewer distinct pen movements. Made for practicing calligraphy rather than æsthetics, especially w.r.t. lowercase letters. This schematic breakdown makes for easier learning of stroke-order and movements.
everything on your keyboard is monospace, 5x9 pixels. some special unicode characters are two spaces wide though, so the font is not entirely monospace. there are no characters that are not either six or twelve pixels wide (including spacing)
Accurate spacing is done with a SINGLE PIXEL ABOVE EACH CHARACTER, REMOVE THAT PIXEL to be correct.
I needed a micro font, something that could be done in the tiniest scale, and braille came to mind. it is decipherable, making it good for textures on signs or glyths in pixel art.
SHARE and USE as you wish, its just braille i hold no creative rule over this, literally anyone can make this exactly the same in 3 minutes or so, like i did.
Sketchy is a pixel/bitmap font with an optimum size of... 44 pixels (if I counted right). I finally finished off the Basic Latin letterset, plus there are a few other marks are included.
