Hey!
I'm "Gr4ftY."
I make music, sketch and build fonts, play Geometry dash, (and as of late, rain world) and do math for fun 🤓

Almost released this as an NFNW, but after a couple hours in the editor, I realized I did want to finish this. Works best at larger sizes for short text.
Any suggestions to make the “N” less bulky would be greatly appreciated.
Also, kerning is in the works. I’ll see if I can finish it eventually.
Suggestions / feedback about the kerning pairs AV, VA, AW, WA, MV, VM, MW, & WM would be helpful—I can't quite figure out the spacing I like.
KERNING PAIRS COMPLETED (so far):
• (A-B)(A-z)
• (A-z)(A-B)
• f(a-z)
• (a-z)f
• a(A-U)
• (A-U)a
• 7(1-9)
• (1-9)7
Looks boring, but there’s a lot of work that went into it, I promise.
There was probably a way that this could have been done a whole lot easier, but oh well.
• 1.66x1.66 brick scale
• connect bricks only
An experiment born from a different experiment. 5/3 x 5/3 brick size filters. No composites, almost no nudging, and only a couple instances of brick-patching. Lowercase is the same as uppercase with a few alternates. Full circles for closed counters, half circles for open counters. There are a couple other similar ideas in the works, hopefully done by next month if I have time :)
LN(VERSE): A kind of "off" 15 segment display with two light levels. Capitals are an inverse of the lowercase. Inverted [] on (). Filled grid on $, half tone filled grid on #. The "Outlined" grid is on the ~, so you simply have to type it before the letter you want to have the outline on.
NOTE: I originally made most of the font with the "outline" baked in, but I thought it better to leave it optional so it could be more versitally used (especially if you stack them to create coloured versions). It was a little more work than I thought it would be, but in the end I'm happy with it, considering I made this on the little time I didn't have homework to do.
this was more a concept than a style Idk
also this is like the only thing I could come up with that was remotely related to the competition.

Attempting contrast at an unusual angle. This is probably going to be caps only, since I don't think I have enough creative energy to make it through lowercase.
also spacing and kerning are all over the place, still don’t know how spacing works in conjunction with serifs. Sorry bout that.
anyways any and all feedback is appreciated.

“Does this font look trustworthy to you?”
This took a while to make but I’m very happy with how this turned out (even though this is far from finished!)
If you have any suggestions for improvements, please tell me in the comments and I will try them out if I can.

inspired by frodo7's most recent work, this is the result of me trying it for myself. Still, this is far from perfect, and any help would be greatly appreciated.
THIS MAY BE EXPANDED APON IN THE FUTURE.
