Recreation of the pixel font from Gremlin Interactive's "HeroQuest" (1991) on the Amstrad CPC and ZX Spectrum.

Note that some of the icons have been mapped to the closest unicode equivalent: the sword to "Crossed Swords" (U+2694), the bag of gold to "Money Bag" (U+1F4B0), shield to "Shield" (U+1F6E1), and the ... acorn-looking icon used to indicate the amount of movement points to "Footprints" (U+1F463) - in that last case, going by meaning rather than appearance.

Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.

Recreation of the pixel font from Magnetic Fields/Gremlin Graphics' "Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge" (1990) on the Amstrad CPC and ZX Spectrum.

Note the flag icon, mapped to "chequered flag" (U+1F3C1).

This recreation tweaks the broken ">" and "}" of the original. Apart from that, only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.

Seen in numerous of early Sega/Gremlin games, mostly on their "Vic Dual" hardware, this font can also be seen in some other games, such as "Phoenix", the sequel, which was Tecmo's very first game called "Pleiades", it also appears in some of Data East's earliest game with a modified "Z".

Clone of The 1st Six Yrs 2of6. A collection of six iconic video arcade game dingbats (1978–1983) presented as 2-bit FontStructions. Some small liberties may have been taken concerning color correction, direction / orientation, sprite merging or overall composition. See character / game listing in the Discussion Section below. Remember: Pixel view may not yield the best preview image. Enjoy, and welcome to "The Fun Hut"!
