Another script experiment, again with a pinch of blackletter, but also with a solid lacing of rock'n'roll... For the fun/easiness of it, this was done with pre-2.0-features only. Funny how this already gives is an old-school feel. :)
A lot of refinement is still to be done... Suggestions are, as always, welcome!
And I will probably add some more latin characters soon...

The kerning sucks, but it's such a tight grid there isn't much I can do.
The lowercase o is a perfect circle of 4 macaroni bricks.
That gives me an x-height of 4 bricks which made some letters a bit difficult...I'm looking at you lowercase s.

Inspired by beate. My third ScriptComp entry. Some letters are more like 'connected italic' than a 'traditional' script. Press the grave accent to get the Th ligature.
UPDATES:07/11/13-???
I've added some ligatures and a few diacritics, as well as the ampersand & a few more punctuation marks. Currently working on more of Basic Latin, it may take me a while... V1.1.0
11/22/13 My first 100-downloads font! Thanks so much to everyone who downloaded.
12/13/13 I've gently smoothed the connections on most letters. V1.2.1

This my recreation of my own handwriting fontstructed with a vertical line/stripe pattern (I know it's bad calligraphy, but don't tell Claude Dieterich I did it, please).
I used a fountain pen 1.1mm stroke to get my samples written down in order to have a basis.
My UC leans slightly to the left and my lc to the right; must be the graffiti influence from way back in the day.
No wonder I only type nowadays...
13.09.09 alternative s added. located instead of the long s → Unicode:017f (Alt + 0383)

Twisted yarn is an amalgamation of two older, long lost fonts: bubble gum, and paper balloon, combined with some design elements to create the next evolution in my design of fancy fonts. Please enjoy

Very rough Script.
Vertical design with 45degres connection. Each individual glyph are unsightly but combine in words it has its charm.

Use Uppercase for the first letter of each word

All lowercase are connected.

Design reminded me of a dalmatian dog, hence the name. In progress. Enjoy!

That's my handwriting. Scanned a piece of paper with a handwritten alphabet and redraw it as exactly as possible. I know it's sloppy but that's the effect I wanted and my handwriting is in fact very sloppy.

1 x 1 filter.
Nearly all angles are 1:8 for the horizontals and 1:4 for the verticals.
28 grid squares from the lowest point to the highest across the set.
For reference, the lower case 'o' is 11 squares wide and 13 squares tall.
Each character has a 1 or 2 block overlap on the right side to make the connectors touch the next character. This is a clone

A font based on my handwriting. This took ages to make (but was a good relaxant from all my studies cuz now is exam period >.<). It came as a surprise how grotesque my handwriting was -- in all meanings of the word.
BTW (in case you didn't know) the name is derived from the word 'ambidextrous'.

A TRUE HAND WRITTEN font.
No two letters are the same, or use any of the same brick configurations.
From my very own hand using an Edding 5.0 Calligraphy pen.
Only the upper case is available for now. Due to a heavy work load this week, and several non-starter comp entries, I've unfortunately been unable to fully complete the lowercase and numerals. :-(
Hope you like it.
All comment and crits appreciated.

My final say on current competition. Jalgas (Жалғас, Zhalgas) is my name, it means continuation, adjacent. Same technique as in Aroth, but the result is hopefully different. Letters are also stencil, but islands appear when forming a word (e.g. "off"). In progress...

I wanted to make a vertically heavy font, and what better sources of inspiration than Arabic script and Western typography. I think it made a good mix; it seems very desert like.

Yesterday afternoon I was sipping Coke on a sunny terrace and thinking about life, and the universe, when an idea came out of the blue about a new stencil font. The idea was so simple, I almost felt ashamed not having it much earlier. Back home I started to work on it, and created the first set of letters. It's a work in progress, fraught with imperfections, including the usual spacing-kerning problems. Remolino is a Spanish word for vortex. This is a clone
