Got the inspiration for this one from a Scania L94UB bus with a route information screen. The one I came across displayed “Leighton Buzzard” in this dotted font. Those letters were the starting point, but weren’t kept exactly the same as they were on that screen.
Base latin uppercase and numerals based on a type of French postal matrix font. Had to create almost all of the lowercase (apart from a, c, g, i, and s), and clearly had a lot of fun seeing how many different characters I could fit within that 7-dot height. First time attempting Cyrillic and Hebrew scripts.
I messed with the filters until the dot spread was the most faithful possible to the printed references.
The original being monospaced I might post a mono copy.
If this reaches OVER 9000 glyphs, Someone will make Artistic Alphabet with this font, this font has 64+ block elements for every glyph and Christian Munk will surprise me with that font better than 7x12 Serif! [IT TAKES ME WEEKS?, HAS SUPPORT FOR KANBUN CHINESE SYMBOLS AND JAPANESE KANA?, DOESN'T MAKE FS LAG?, BEATS OFF 7X12 SERIF?]
