Recreation of the pixel font from Nintendo's "Super Mario Land" (1989) on the Game Boy. The same font was reused in other games like "Tetris" (1989), "Dr. Mario" (1990) and "Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3" (1994). Only the characters present in the game ROM have been included.
Update: removed a stray extra pixel in the "9".
Recreation of the font from Nintendo's "Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3" (1994) on the Game Boy. This font is used for all on-screen text and counters, with the exception of the world map, where the font from the original "Super Mario Land" makes an appearance. Note the lowercase "o" (used in-game at the start of each stage to indicate the current course number). The spacing of the punctuation marks and apostrophe was altered slightly (the game otherwise makes use of composite character sets with non-standard spacing and overall width). Only the characters present in the game ROM have been included.
