If this is a description box, I was given a brief to create a themed typeface with a starting point of 'analogue'. I decided to look into pillars and columns from renaissance era architecture.

        Based on the theme of rebirth, ‘Fill in the blanks’ draws inspiration from the Renaissance era. Looking at the original printing press, traditional blackletter and Renaissance calligraphy, ‘Fill in the blanks’ offers a modern twist on some of the oldest typefaces to date. By looking at the brush strokes of blackletter and the serifs used in the printing press typefaces, this font is a combination of these characteristics. By using just these features the human eye can still recognise the letter form, essentially allowing your mind to ‘Fill in the blanks.’

              Renaissance-style Italic font, with straight capitals & old style numerals. The lower case letters are designed within a dot matrix, albeit slanted; with the uppercase letters I have deviated from this, in order to create well-proportioned Roman capitals.

                                This is my first pixel preference font. It is based on popular forms of title and display writing and engraving in 16th and 17th centuries. It is named after famous printmaker and painter Albrecht Durer, although his writing was only one reference out of a few for this font, and you may notice that other than the A, there are not many similarities with Durer's style. The upper case is purposely deteriorated alla Caslon Antique, and is wider spaced than the lower case. Gamma and Delta in Greek and Coptic are alternate G and D. Other ligatures and alternates are in Alphabetic Presentation Forms in Unicode.
