Recreation of the pixel font used in the classic Gottlieb arcade game "Q*bert" (1982). This is the original version, which only includes the characters used in the game, the numerals shifted one pixel below the letters, and the unusually thick parentheses.

An alphabet worthy of Q*bert; he could successfully complete each letter and number designed here as an individual game board. The punctuation, however, is another story...

A collection of six iconic video arcade game dingbats (1978–1983) presented as 2-bit FontStructions. Some small liberties may have been taken concerning color correction, direction / orientation, sprite merging or overall composition. See character / game listing in the Discussion Section below. Remember: Pixel view may not yield the best preview image. Enjoy, and welcome to "The Fun Hut"!

Mostly inspired by the video game QBert, which was, I'm sure, partly inspired by M. C. Escher.
IsoMatrix was a font long before Fontstruct, and was much harder to realize with bricks than vectors.
This one is shared thanks to the intricate 3D output of the following fontstructors:
shasta's Escheresk,
frodo's Hommage a Escher,
and
funk king's Soma.
It is also released for Em42, because it was created purely with the original set of bricks that Fontstruct started out with. This is a clone

Based on the pixel font used in the classic Gottlieb arcade game "Q*bert" (1982), this is the expanded version which features more special characters and fixes the quirky "numerals one pixel lower than letters" issue of the original. This is a clone of Q-bert Original
