The result of my first play with fontstruct. It's an utterly flawed font, take it and fix it as you see fit. Underscore is used to to terminate and separate words. There's only a handful of characters I'm happy with so far.

A retro cursive font. Any word will make a continuous line. To cap the front, use '~', to cap the end use '`',and make a space between words, use _. In previews some gaps may show between letters, but in actual use they do not appear.

My first try at FontStruct Calligraphy.
(on a non-pixel optimized font)
A very rational/FS grid.

Combis (or Micros) are really small vans used as local Transport in Lima, my hometown.
They have a wide range of scripts that are manually painted to the sides to indicate the main streets or avenues the route includes.
Styles vary from combi to combi, even in the same company, as I believe they hire different letterers for the job.
I'm working on a little project to make some of them into a font set called Combi Stylus & I created a flickr set to show my inspiration sources.
This one is my FontStruct version for the set & it needs a lot of kerning, but well...
Enjoy!

A TRUE HAND WRITTEN font.
No two letters are the same, or use any of the same brick configurations.
From my very own hand using an Edding 5.0 Calligraphy pen.
Only the upper case is available for now. Due to a heavy work load this week, and several non-starter comp entries, I've unfortunately been unable to fully complete the lowercase and numerals. :-(
Hope you like it.
All comment and crits appreciated.

I had wanted to come up with a cursive-styled font using only rather basic lines and curves, so this is what I came up with. While it's not a "proper" cursive (not many character pairings have a traditional flow), it does have some cursive-style mannerisms.
Enjoy!
UPDATES:
* 2014.05.30: To take advantage of FontStruct's new nudge feature, all glyphs with curved tops and bottoms have been adjusted.
* 2013.05.07: Altered the positioning of the superscript 1, 2, and 3; realigned the already esiting 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 fraction characters; added new fraction characters; added complete set of numeric superscript and subscript characters; modified the "f combination" ligatures for more consistency.
* 2013.05.20: The tildes have been corrected. I don't know why, but they somehow looked like backwards Ns instead of what they should look like. Additionally, I made a small alteration to the lowercase V character to make it look equally uniform to the other lowercase characters.
* 2013.05.26: Added some letterlike characters to the mix.
* 2013.05.28: More edits, but this time, I've gone ahead and added a few touches to make most -- not all -- of the lowercase letters flow into each other. I was flirting with the concept of having the bars of the lowercase Ts linked to the other lowercase characters, but thought against it (especially since I'm planning on expanding the character set even further).
* 2013.06.04: Slight touch-ups. Slight alterations made to the Ç (uppercase C cedilla) and ç (lowercase c cedilla). Added ligatures for "dz", "ij", "lj", and "nj", as well as some new currency symbols. Moved the Won sign into the appropriate position.

'Repertor' is a display typeface inspired by hand-rendered calligraphy and brush stroke textures. The typeface evolved from exploring physical properties of my starting theme 'motion' and combining this with nautical elements, mostly found close to Bristol Harbour - the name 'Repertor' has been taken from a Thames sailing barge.
