          Creating a typeface based entirely around the slanted A used to represent a font throughout Mac OS Classic. Is such a thing even possible? Yes it is.

              I started doodling on graph paper at work one day, fitting letters into quarter-inch squares. This was the most pleasing of the styles I came up with.

                                As a font geek, I was quick to notice the lettering on the segmented signs used by the San Francisco Muni Metro trains. I thought, it would be cool to have a font of that. And I know the perfect tool to build it with.

                                      I needed something vaguely LED display-like for an open source project, so I made this. This is actually based on a bitmap font I made long ago for some silly thing I made in HyperCard long ago.
