At the end of October I decided to dive into the new Bricks 'Connect'. I started with the lowercase 's' & 'a'. Working out what the minimal size I could fontstruct it in, then expanded and condensed it from there to accomadate the rest of the glyths. You can still see these in the font above (Just before the Latin characters. As I progressed I came to love the thin white gaps, and then tried to have every glyth with some element of the curved white gap in it. Some were more successful than others. As you can see, I have included the less preferred options at the end. I've also designed some of the final glyphs in illustrator, as it was impossible to have all of them with one white line, without help from an external app.
The most difficult glyphs to create and ultimately the most satisfying once completed were the 'V' and '~'.
I liked the look of final font so much, that I decided to create a whole family. Cableguynium 0 (which has Zero cables), CableGuynium 2 (which has 1-2 cables per glyth), and CableGuynium 3 (Which has 3-4 cables).
Unusually I struggled naming this font, I have early versions saved called Flowonica, Rubber Tyre, Ice Skater and Fibropticon, ..... eventually settling on CableGuynium as it was the most memorable.

Version 3 is my favorite.
Samples are really cool, showcasing work is something that I lack that's why I sort-of "envy" those who can.

@architaraz. There's no doubting you're the king of the curved inline font, with such beauties as AT Rosalla, AT Esrever, AT Chaperon, AT Aday, AT Raushan and the classic Argyn to name but a few of your ultra creative fonts. So I'm honoured that you like my font. :)
Woah, haven't seen this kind of font on FS for a while, love it! I love how it retains the 'modular' feel, yet looks sophisticated at the same time. Don't worry, I got your rating back :)
Damn this is very cool mate. Your sample layout design is mucha nice as well.
And like architaraz said, don't mind the votings. (though it still kind of upsets me as well each time) but this bs is systematically done to nearly half the contributions here.
One last thing.. please don't tell me you did 500+ fonts all this good!! :P

How To Make Alternates?
You would need to use OpenType Stylistic Sets to use them, but copy-paste a letter and change it a bit...
@Sed4tives Thanks for the comment. There's no way that the 400+ fonts are as good as this......... may be 399, but definately not 400. Ha ha, I'm joking. My early work really leaves a lot to be desired, although they are simple they retain high usability, as I design lots of fonts specifically for logos.
@Se7enty-Se7en. You are correct, but I much prefer to use single fonts for this particular font. There are, in my opinion, simply too many variations for it to work smoothly with OpenType, although with just a few select characters it would work well with OT features, just not the whole font. There are over 6 fonts in the whole family.... and may be even more. :)
Btw, a funny thing with this down vote nonsense, at some point I even suspected you to be behind this in my case!! ;)
@Sed4tives I realise I'm a bit brutally honest sometimes, but i'm always trying to be contructive. Voting a one, is not my thing. I don't see the point, it's just being vindictive. I prefer not to vote at all, unless a fontstruct is a 9 or 10/10. I think if members vote, then it should be stated who voted in a list with the stats, that way everyone is accountable for their actions, and we'll soon weed out who is responsible.

MOTHER FUNKERS! What does everyone else think, is it plagerism or not? Does anyone know which company did the UEFO EURO FONT? I think I need to get in contact with them.
@Audio, to be honest I dont think it was inspired by your great work, neither copied it. I don't even think the creator of rhe UEFA font is aware of this font. The problem here is simply due to a similar design technique with incised letterforms. And you can't claim a technique. Even though there are some similarities due to the incisions. Also have I seen some very similar fonts from earlier EUFA league years that this fella most likely tried imitating. And last but not least, yours is much cooler. ;-)
The jury is still out on this one. I've since found that their version is called 'Bridge Type', based on an idea by Young & Rubicon, Portugal, and then designed by A Dot Below. What I could really do with finding out is the date it was designed. I bet you 100% it's not too long after my release date. If it is, I'll 'kick-off' about it. :)

@coffeebug: Many of the fonts I've created in FS have been initially do to be used in private and/or public works. It shouldn't surprise you that some fontstructors create fonts here for their personal use, and for them to at least let us see them is something we should be grateful for. Plus, it's a good way to preserve authorship and copyright. Don't worry.
@coffeebug - As I've mentioned a other threads, it's a way of retaining control of distribution.
1. Before this feature was added, non-FontStructors would often upload others' fonts to various "1,000 FREE-FREE-FREE FONTS !!!!" websites. Sadly, the uploader would all too often claim to BE the creator of the font and/or remove the creator/attribution information from the font -- which was against the creator's wishes and copyright claims.
The creator would then have to scour these sites, contact the owner, and make a claim for removal -- all of which takes time and effort for something that was not their doing in the first place.
2. FontStructors may also choose to sell their fonts; a few FontStructors would make an initial font, then upgrade them to a more 'professional' or expanded version. By removing the Download option, the prospective customer could still view the font and test it out prior to contacting the FontStructor to purchase it.
The other alternative was to remove key glyphs to make it a demo font. After discovering one of these older font demos, someone recently asked, "Why is each letter $8?" This was how FontStructors were forced to sell fonts prior to the No Download option.
(P.S. At the time, it was $8 for that particular font, not $8 for each letter. The $8 statement was placed in each missing glyph so as to not be overlooked or missed -- a common practice.)
3. Still others make and/or use their fonts for personal or commercial purposes, but also want to display them as a form of creative artwork from which others may take inspiration.
Speaking of "removing key glyphs": some font demos replace the numerals and other non alphabetic glyphs, along with some alphabetic glyphs that relate to extended character sets with the demo glyph; and some font demos have a limited charset (example: the demo only having letters and numbers, while the paid version has all the glyphs).
