This font was designed around the theme word Elegant.  I was inspired to create a typeface that was ornate and palatial; it is a ode to Baroque design.

I have tried to emulate columns for the body of the font and created a crowned frieze for some of the letters with decorative toppers for the remaining characters.

Super cool! It has a lot of detail and personality. Gives me a strong sense of "place". Fav'd :D

You might find some good ideas in Temple of Gong...

Great, UWE designers are back :) This looks stylish, it has the feel of importance, power and beauty. Each glyph is a symphony for the eyes. Yet it remains legible when used in text. Well done 10/10

I wonder what UWE means...

@ 77: UWE  Pupils and students from many schools, colleges and universities around the world (!) join FS to make glyphs/fonts as part of Art-Design courses. They follow what their course briefs demand (some kids are 10 which makes our encouragement and choice of words even more important...), and we "FS Oldies" enjoy swapping messages, seeing new ideas and trends and often get inspiration for our own new glyph shapes and fonts.

I sometimes think that Mr.Meek abstracts a design brief/key word to determine the subject of a FS competition ;)
